Record of Lodoss War: OVA & Chronicles of the Heroic Knight

Hello I was wondering if there is any content concerns in Record of Lodoss War: OVA and Record of Lodoss War: Chronicles of the Heroic Knight? I have read the review and I not exactly sure what the meant when it said "Deedlit is appears without clothing in an end sequence slate." I have seen the first 2 episodes of Heroic Knights (Anime test drive DVD) is the ending slate like the Welcome to Lodoss Island skits?

The ending slate consists of the ending credits. Other than the skimpy clothing and slight credit problem mentioned (along with the violence mentioned in our review), I don't remember any real content issues beyond the typical fantasy mythos.

Thanks for the reply I am a fantasy fan (haveing watched .hack//sign and Escaflowne) and was thinking of picking up up.

I love this series. Its one of my favirote. I don't think there is any sexual content to worry about in the COHK series but as for the OVA's i haven't seen them.

In one of the very last scenes, Deedlit's clothes get torn, revealing some of her chest for less than a second. There is no sexual content that I recall. The closest thing is in Chronicles when one character gets a mistaken impression of the relationship between two others, and maybe a few things in the "Welcome to Lodoss Island" part (which is wierd because I usually associate chibi with kid stuff, but it's content has probably the worst in the show).

I have watched the first 2 episodes of Heroic Knights through the Anime test Drive DVD and I was wondering do the characters have the same voices in both series? Just I really hate Parn's voice (sounds like a muppet ).

I can't comment on the TV series, but there's nothing objectionable as far as sexual content in the OVA. Watch it, it's a classic, albeit a flawed one.

I usually listen to the Japanese voices, so I'm not sure.
