Has anyone seen this show? I'm up to episode seven so far, and I like it very much. It's about the three prettiest boys in school who were selected to be "Princesses". Their job is to dress up like girls and parade around the school, going to things like swim meets and school activities to be cheerleaders. Kind of defeats the purpose of an all-boys school, hunh? But it makes for an interesting premise. It's heartwarming and hillarious, and I'd totally reccomend it if you like Ouran High School Host Club. The manga was liscenced recentley, and there's going to be a live-action spinnoff series airing on Janaese TV called Princes Princess D soon.

Puri Puri was ok; I watched two episodes and lost interest. It had humor, but the shounen-ai content, though not blatant, was definitely in the air.

And that guy in the top left hand corner for the live action version disturbs me.

They added in a lot of shonen-ai hints to the anime that weren't in the manga; also comparable to the treatment Ouran got. Apparently when it first came out fans of the original were kind of angry. I haven't read the manga yet, but I'll be sure to when it's released over here just to compare.

Still, the basic premise is shounen-ai fodder; though it's pretty cool how the three of them, well...two of them, turn the unpleasant situation around to suit their needs. Lemonade from lemons.

That's an interesting fact, but then again anime to manga is like movies to books. :P
