Always on the lookout for good review resources and sites this could be the best I've come across yet:
The Anime Meta Review (Beta)
Of course, it could be that everyone else already knows about it and I'm just catching on.
God bless.

Wow, yeah, looks like a good site. Another review site I use relatively often is THEM anime reviews, but some of their reviews are quite cynical, making it a little harder to find a good series. Still though, they rate on content along with quality, which is good when you're looking for something clean.

THEM, AnimeonDVD, and Anime News Network. The nice thing about AnimeonDVD is they will review every US dvd of a popular series, so you can have a progressive set of reviews.
Of course, I also recommend the reviews on this site for Christians - both for parents and for anime fans.

Anime Cafe is a good site for reviews as well. It's what I used before CAA.

The good thing about the Meta site is that it brings a lot of those together. And you can access them easily from that site. If you read the 'About' section it mentions how it comes to its scores.
Others noted though.

Heh any one else ever view the bad marked ones, just out of curiousity to see WHY it was so bad a rating? Don't actually look THROUGH the reviews, but like on the one site and the comments, guess enough to never wanna watch them out of boringness :/

I second the Anime Cafe.I used to be on their forum before we took our computer to have looked at the last time around and for some reason it and Anime Angels are the only two forums I wasn't able to get back on,so I stopped trying with the Anime Cafe Forum.
Any way with the Anime Cafe they divide each show into G,PG,PG13,MA ratings so it makes it easier to find appropiate titles.
I also like the Anime News Network as they simply list what type of show each is and give a short synopsis plus the cast list for the different language versions.
Although I don't know how accurate all of their filmographies are.
THEM,again I agree they can be overly cynical in a lot of their reviews.

I think it's Anime Planet that I'm thining of that you can get lists of recommended anime by looking up your favorite animes.
Also let's not forget TheOtaku.

I like Animenewsnetwork.com's reviews. Especially the ones in the Shelf Life column, those are always hillarious. There was another funny review site I found awhile ago that had a picture of an American style superhero eating a sandwich on the front page, but I forget what it's called.
