When I buy an anime DVD, I totally just run through the whole thing in one sitting. I just don't have the willpower to wait xD

Space 'em out, I don't have time to watch them all at once.

I usually watch the whole volume in one setting.

I would watch them all if I had the time.

I usually watch two episodes per sitting, but sometimes I watch all 3 or 4 volumes that are on the dvd.

I watch them in one sitting, unless I'm interrupted. What I'll usually do, though, is watch through one time with the dub, then watch through another time with the sub. That way, it does last longer, and I can compare the two when I'm finished. :D

I space them out big time. For my favorite anime (Currently Saikano) I stretched the 13 episodes out over a months time. Was well worth it.

Phil Hartman wrote:Yeah, you definately want to spread out your viewings for an anime like Saikano... you'd get dizzy and probably go crazy towards the end if you take in everything at once!

I did the same thing you did with Haibane Renmei, in that I bought all the DVDs (13 episodes) at once and finished the first run in over a month. In doing that, you wouldn't believe how the experience sinks into memory for an anime like that.

Yah, Haibane Renmei is actually next on my list of animes to get. I have yet to see it.

(I either a) watch whatever I have the time/stamina to watch or b) if it is tournament season or I am expecting to see Rai-sama soon, I wait for him and we watch them on his laptop whenever we have the chance to. During tournaments, this is just a few episodes a day during lunch/dinner, or when we both have at least a half-an-hour before our next round (waiting for breaks springs to mind. O_o).)

I watch them all at once unless I don't have time. When I first got into anime I got used to watching entire series at a time (only wait time was the d/l for the fansub). So even the wait between dvds is long for me ^^; I'm also not a patient person and I like to get it all finished.

Out of curiousity, what kind of tournaments are these?

I perfer to watch new DVDs on Friday and Sunday nights. My usual schedule is to watch Robotech on Thursday and Friday and Sunday the first eps. of any new DVD
I might have bought. If I haven't bought any new one then I'll simply choose one to watch on Friday and another on Sunday.I generally watch one per night when I do.
On occasion I will watch two episodes from two different DVDs.For example this past thursday I saw Robotech:Bye Bye Mars followed by Cowboy Bebop:My Funny
Valentine.
I like to do it this way so I don't get into a rut.

Usually I space it out, but depending on how good the series is. Take, for example, Giant Robo:

Me: "The Day the Earth Stood still!" I shall watch one episode every night!
Day One: Oooh....herm...okay...one more. Okay, one disc every night!
Day Two: *finishes second disc* Aw....*pops in third disc* No! Ah! More! Give me mooooooorrrre! *finishes series* Woo...

One of the few times I watched two eps. of the same series was when I was watching the Inuyasha sub,I then watched another ep. on another DVD in dub format.
As far as it goes I find watching one ep. per DVD and then going on and watching another keeps the anime fresh so that when I get to watching the next ep. on the
first DVD it's still new.

I usually watch the whole DVD in one sitting, but if I have more than one new DVD to watch and they're from different series, then I'll probably watch them over a couple of days. Although, if all of the DVDs are from the same series, then I may watch them all together marathon style. I usually do that with box sets.

2 episodes per sitting, sometimes all of the episodes on the volumes that I buy.

I think it would depend on how good the series was. If it was fabulous, I think I would be tempted to rush through all the eps as soon as I could. But I think I would want to space out the eps. Prolly no more than 3 eps. a day.

When I get enough DVDs I will probably do one per day.Considering the dismal swamp tv is turning into DVDs are looking better and better all the time.

Well, sometimes I stand in front of my DVD's when I come home from work trying to figure out which one I wanna watch while I surf the web. After about 5 minutes, I usually pick one, and play it--not really paying much attention to it while I surf the web or talk in the YIM CAA Chat. (Insert shameless plug here).

I rent anime DVDs from my local library so I usually have to watch them as soon as I get them or they'll start piling up and I'll lose track of them. I'd reccomend checking your own library's website for anime, since mine has a huge selection. It's only a dollar to rent, too!

Great minds think alike! :thumb: I love my public library..they have a pretty decent collection of anime DVD's.

You can order anime from all over your state and have it mailed to your closest libary if you live in an unconvenient area. I live in Hawaii, and I usually have to order anime from libaraies on different islands. It takes a long time for them to be shipped/mailed, though.

Sometimes if its a series I really wanna see I watch the whole dvd in one sitting. Extras and previews included!!! Most of the time only have time for an episode here and there though. Ahh yes the working world.
