Woah! It's about time!
The Second Raid was totally awesome
But they need another season... TSR was kinda... unfulfilling. There needs to be more romance

I'm not happy about this at all. We'll get a whole new dub voice cast now. What was ADV thinking letting this slip away after they did the original and Fumofuu?!

AAARGH! Funi snagged the licence to another fansubbed series I like. Now it's going to get a whole new dub cast
. I liked ADV's cast.
Second Raid isn;t the en of the series. According to Anime News Network a new OVA should be coming out soon.

Funi is based in Texas, just like ADV -- And they've used the same voices as ADV in the past. We might not have a new cast at all.

It doesn't make sense to get a new cast anyway. I do know Vic is Kurz, and since both are located in Texas. (vic lives in texas!) I'm sure both ADV/Funimation understand that getting a new cast would hurt the series. I think they'll stick with it.

Funi announced Beck today, and also confirmed that the FMP dub cast will be returning for TSR.

The new OVA will hardly advance the plot. It's about one day in Tessa's life, I hear.

*Breathes huge sigh of relief*
ADV is still stupid.

Uh, how do we know if they weren't outbid on the anime?
And remember something, alot of the voice actors that do voice work for ADV, do work for Funimation or the other way around.

We don't, but they'd be stupid to let themselves be outbid.

Yes, fortunately there are a lot of freelancers in the VA business.

My first reaction was panic, since FMP is one of the animes where I think the dub cast is MUCH better than the original Japanese cast.
But now since I know they've got the same cast, I don't particularly care. XD ADV made a mistake letting the series go, but Funimation seems to do a better job with merchandise and advertising, anyway. (I can find swag pretty easily for a lot of Funimation's properties. Not so with ADV's stuff. I don't think I"m going to be able to find a DNAngel calender anytime soon unless I find a Japanese one)
I wouldn't be surprised that ADV got outbid, though. It seems like Funimation has more big hits than ADV does currently, although ADV had some good hits in the past....

In a way, I'd have preferred to see ADV get it, so that they could finish what they started with the franchise and so that Anime Network would have run it. But I suppose FUNi's not a bad choice either, as long as they can get most of the voice cast back. Let's see what they can do with it.
