Where can I buy it besides Best Buy/Circuit City/Suncoast since I have none of those stores near me?

I heard our Rhino might have it (they have UMD, and I'm hoping they might have the DVD as well), so once I find it I'll pick it up (it was also at our Blockbuster, I believe, but all the copies were gone).

I got mine from Walmart :/ It's a bigger name so should be found at places like that... werid thing was I walked by it several times and didn't even realize it was there when I was looking for it 0_0... dumb me^^ Had to ask the cashier :/

BTW: I'm watching the game trailer and noticed something: They're using Last Order clips to show Before Crisis!!! Not sure about North America's release on the game, but maybe that's our only hope now of getting that anime :/
Then the next commercial IS the OVA preview, but they've renamed it "Crisis Core". Hmmm.... there IS hope^^

Indeed it was. I bought from there as well. The Region 1 transfer is overall more colorful and you notice little details that you didn't before (I owned a bootleg before, but it was super high quality! Anywho...) I was dissapointed that it didn't include the OVA as well and that the subtitles were pretty americanized (although not dubtitles) and not very literal to the japanese script. But yah, glad I bought it. :thumb:

I really enjoyed this movie, it's not the best film I have ever seen but the graphics were amazing! Totally blue pixar outta the water! LOL

since I really haven't played the entire game (Someone stole it from me and never returned it) I was a bit confused with the characters...but I think I understood it.

I liked the guy with the red hair in the ponytail, he was funny...as was the black agent looking guy.

The graphics sold me more than the story line though...

Watch the extra on the first disk "Reminiscience of FF7" it uses clips from the actual game to go through the basic plotline^^ Great extra for people who don't know the real story^^

I just picked up a copy at Walmart. The movie is great. I still can't believe they included a 25-minute version of the film as an extra instead of Last Order though! And then they include clips from LO and make it look like it's part of the upcoming games. Grr...

Anyways, good movie.

If they included the Last Order with Advent Children, this would've been a killer release!! But Nooo...They just HAD to market it seperately. :hits_self And possibly in an upcoming video game too! GAAAAH! Games are expensive!!

Lucky! It was $20 at my Wal-Mart, but of course I bought it anyway. ^^ It's so pretty! And even though it wasn't the greatest movie ever plotwise, I personally thought it was a giant leap above FF:The Spirits Within. I absolutely hated that movie...of course I'm biased when it comes to FF VII, but I still thought it was a way better movie. Also, did anyone notice that Reno had the same voice as Axel from Kingdom Hearts II? It made me happy. ^^

I bought it from work last night (I work at an EB Games). I watched it when I got back, and I thought it was amazing. I told a friend I must have been holding my breath during some of the fights because I felt light-headed off and on O.o I also actually came to tears during a couple scene in the end; the game was somewhat personal to me, as well some of the other Final Fantasies. I don't think they could've done a finer job on upholding the feeling of VII and its characters :-) Great movie!

u should still watch it cuz theres a special feature that u can watch to get caught up.

anyways........everyone is saying they didn't think the plot was that great. While i agree it wasn't perfect but i still seemed very well done to me. I loved the plot buuuut it pales in comparison to the fight scenes. They done sooooo well i was in aww the whole time

*Puts goign to walmart on to do list* I saw it a while ago but the english dub was really good. considering that this was just like dubbing an actual foreign movie and not an anime.

Also Most of the voices form Kh2 to the ff7 characters were the same, It hink, Im pretty sure cloud and Tifa were. And Im pretty sure Areis to.

Sorry to cut you off, but we have a discussion going of the movie and since that one is more established, I think I will simply link to the thread.

If you just want to discuss the film you only need to read the last couple of pages or so.

Almost everyone was. This included Sephiroth (and his voice actor changed between the two games) so my fear of Lance Bass making the one winged angel sound like N*Sync is no more.

I don't know what my opinion is worth, but here it is: if you would be happy with just an action movie, go ahead and view it. Things are well-coreographed and it looks nice overall. But you can't really understand the plot or the characterization unless you understand the game.
