what anime would you pitch for what network?

Okay here's the scenario: You are trying to pitch certain anime to different cable and/or satellite channels that don't currently play any. Which ones would you pitch to which network and why?
Here's what I'd pitch:
Speedvision: Initial D--well, it does involve racing
Sci-fi: any Gundam cartoon, as well as any of the sci-fi themed g4 titles. This channel never should've stopped playing anime.
ESPN: Slam Dunk--it involves basketball
Lifetime: Maison Ikkoku--if the manga's any indication, this'd work pretty well.

Speedvision allready plays Speedracer, so Initial-D seems like the logical next step.
I'd pitch piano to Bravo... It's quiet, simple, and elegant... Something that the "superior" crowd at Bravo would LOVE to have in their programming.

"Some wine and brie with your anime sir?"

I said to those that DON'T already play anime!
anyway, I just thought of another one:
The History Channel: I'd pitch these four:
- Rurouni Kenshin--Why not?
- Grave of the Fireflies--I have a feeling it actually happened
- The Hakkenden--I hear this is actually based on a super-old historical novel.
- Peacemaker Kurogane--it also takes place in historical Japan.

It actually sort of did. It's a semibiographical account of the man who wrote the book.
For me, I guess 20th Century Boys (though not an anime... yet) or Monster, or any Psychological Thriller like Perfect Blue or Paranoia Agent on SCI-FI.

Personally, I think I'd go to a network which caters to woman, like Oxygen or Lifetime perhaps, and try to pitch "Honey and Clover." It's one of those shows that has characters so real and heartfelt that even people unfamiliar with anime can get into it.

Gas prices dude...Have YOU ever tried filling up the Mach 5?! That's a paycheck gone right there! (Seriously, it had a brief stint on Nickeloden, but they stopped showing it.)

And that would be the ONLY anime you could sell to them, I bet! I wanna sell Fighting Foudons (Used to air on Fox Kids) to the Food Network and Shaman King to Sci-Fi Network!

I think there's supposed to be a Western Channel,so I would sell Trigun to them.
