Honey and Clover TWO? And a Live Action? Sounds Interesting. I think I'll get a hold of them when they appear.

Tom Dincht just realized Honey and Clover II and the Live Action movie will never be released in the US.

It's highly likely that Honey and Clover will be released in the U.S. It's fairly popular in Japan

The live action is most likely never going to be released in the US however. Most foreign live-action movies don't anyway

Quite a few have lately. Well, the more popular ones anyways (usually horrors like Ringu, Ju-On, Dark Water, and even others not so famous like Audition etc.) And well, even the Lupin 3 live action movie has made it's way over here (can't remember the releaser, but yeah).

AHHHH!!! YOU HAVE MADE MY DAY, MY WEEK, MY YEAR WITH THIS NEWS! I am so excited about serason two of Honey and Clover. I've been a fan for forever, and I was hoping we'd get some more closure. *hugs WingZero, causing him to gasp for air and turn a lovely shade of blue.*

I'm not thrilled by the prospect of a live action movie, since I simply can't see most of Hachikuro's humor being transferred to real life, but I'll give it a try.

You think so? My speculation, and the speculation of those that I've read, is that it will be quite some time before Hachikuro is licensed. If it ever is. The show is simply not what the majority of people want or expect from anime(Low fanservice, very slice of life). It might be liicensed one day, but if it never is, I won't be surprised.

Here's the synopsis of the show that I wrote for my review:

synopsis wrote:Honey and Clover centers around the lives of four college art students: Yamada, Mayama, Morita, and Takemoto. Their lives change drastically the day that their young professor, Shuuji, introduces them to his 19 year old neice, Hagu, who is coming to attend the art college of which they are all students. Tiny, innocent Hagu, whose talent is anything but small, instantly attracts the attention of Morita and Takemoto. As they move from year to year, each of the five students striving towards his own goals of success, their relationships become more strained and complicated, but will their bonds of friendship and love be strained until they reach their breaking point?

It's my favorite show of all time. You can read the entire review I wrote here: https://www.christiananime.net/reviews.php?display=192
