Anime News Network wrote:Cartoon Network has picked up the rights to broadcast the Studio Ghibli library of movies from sister network Turner Classic Movies. The first of the films, Spirited Away, will air on the Fridays block on February 3 at 7PM.

I had a feeling that this would happen.

Good. Thursays has turned out to be a bad day for me to catch anything on TV. I'd really like to see the movies that have yet to come out on video, since I can either rent or own the others.

I'm surprised they didn't make it part of Toonami. Maybe they'll do that with Nausicaa, since it's pretty action-packed.

Unfortunately, this means that if you missed the subbed version, you will probably never see it again unless you see it on DVD. I doubt that a sub will appear on CN.

I taped "Whisper" last Thursday at like 4:30 a.m. so that I could watch it a decent hour in sub. Same thing for "Only Yesterday" this week.

But the CN exposure is still good.

That's a shame. I'm always busy ever friday night.
