Bad Scrapped Princess DVDs

I've been having serious problems with the Scrapped Princess DVD's I've bought lately. I purchased and returned three different copies of v.3 and really ought to return v.4 and v.5 since they're no good either. The DVD's are seriously warped and won't play on older machines, and even skipped on my brand-new laptop.
Just wondering if anyone else has been having this problem with Scrapped Princess or any other Bandai Entertainment anime DVD's.?

I haven't heard about any problem like that with them. If you do take them back, I would e-mail or write to Bandai and let them know you had a problem with them. They may want to look into this matter.

yeah, I let Bandai know about the v.3, and sent in the third copy I had purchased, and they finally sent me backa fourth one that is good. *dances* Guess I just need to get on it and send in 4 and 5.
*sigh*

I have all of the Scrapped Princess DVDs and other Bandai titles. I've yet to have any problem with them.

Anime on DVD mentioned the problem with these discs in their Bandai year-in-review. I haven't had problems with my first three discs; I have yet to get the fourth and fifth.
I do, however, have a lot of trouble out of some ADV DVDs not working on my PS2. I usually have to resort to watching certain eps on my laptop.

Ah. Good to know I'm not the only one. But you'd think that this is a big enough problem that they would have done a recall, or fixed their equipment, or something.
Ah well, at least they were nice about giving me a new copy.

It makes me wonder if one of the runs of disks was stored improperly - like in extreme heat or something. I suddenly feel lucky that none of my Scrapped Princess DVD's had any problems.

It could be that since I live in Montana, they might have been exposed to extreme temperature changes, coming from I believe Florida (?) to potentially negative temperatures.
Dunno though, because I purchased them in different Montana towns; and the replacement was shipped to my family in Wyoming and it was fine. *shrug*
