i saw a preveiw of DNangle on the 1st volume of pretear and it look really good and interesting anyone seen it and is there like any "content" issuies in it aka sexuality. I wouldn't think their would be but i don't feel like getting blindsided by any.

So far there hasn't been any sexuality in DNAngel, and there wasn't any in Pretear either. However, I only read the manga, I never saw the anime (I started the anime of DNAngel but I thought it was kind of lame :\), but as far as the manga goes, you should be A-OK! If you want further info though, you might want to try checking out the reviews section. I'm pretty sure there's a review up for both of these series.

DNAngel and Pretear are just fine. But I'd recommend the DNAngel manga. Pretear anime all the way.

You have assumed correctly, IMHO.

DNAngel is a really good clean manga. I think the anime is clean too. I know of some more clean anime and manga if you're interested.

The manga does have at least 2 scenes of breaking and entering into a girl's room by a guy, at least one suggestive scene (one of those accidental "funny" poses), and a case where a guy has to play a girl in a school's romanctic play. We don't have the review up in the manga db. since it's still running, but this is what I can think of off the top of my head.

Since this is in the anime section, I'll assume you are talking mostly about the anime. I have seen the entire series and can speak on it.

It does start off a little slow, but the story ends up being a very good one - one of my favorites. I would recommend it with no reservations.

There is almost no objectionable content in the violence/sex categories. There's no nudity or graphic violence of any sort. There are some awkward moments, as it contains a fairly typical anime romance, but it is all pretty innocent.

Just on a side note - some volumes of DNANgel may be hard to find these days since they are out of print. It will save you heartache and money in the long run to buy the collected thinpack release. As far as I know, all seven volumes are still available for individual purchase, but that will change.

The manga? Not so far, except Dark kisses a girl and he's on top of her. BUT it was not exactly a romantic thing; he had gone into her room to hide from Satoshi and she freaked out and he had to keep her quiet. ^^;;; She was pretty ticked off. "That pervert stole my first kiss!!!!" It wasn't sexual at all. DNAngel is a very clean manga. ^___^

Specific to DNAngel Anime :

After three episodes, the only things I can think of so far that are potentially distressing or off-putting:

1) There is some occasional homo-suggestive tension from the chief antagonist toward the chief protagonist. This seems to be a sort of bait-and-switch; his real interest is apparently toward Daisuke as quarry, not Daisuke himself.

2) Some Christians are going to find the use of angels as something other than angels a problem. But they are going to find this a problem in a lot of other Anime, too.
