and what a very "interesting" announcment it is...

a street date of september!? I'm curious as to why it took so long. Didn't all the episodes get released in Japan a while ago?? Didn't the first DVD come out in July 2005? Why would it take over a year to release a 6 episode series? Would it really take that long to dub episodes 4-6? And what is this Episode 7 that they're talking about for the 3rd disc?? I havn't seen anything about it on the net or in any episode guides. And if they are planning on selling the episode 7 DVD at full price they better have some better than normal extras. I don't think most people are going to be happy about having to pay 29.99 for 1 episode (that may just be an "extended version" of an earlier episode) and some line-art galleries.

Seeing this really makes me start worrying for the fate of Tsubasa Chronicle ^^. Why couldn't Geneon have bought that license!?

Odd... maybe it's one of those 2 ep long eps?

Also looking at that page, never knew FUNI got ahold of Trinity Blood and Negima... or did I and just forget? :/

Negima was announced awhile ago. I think there was a topic about it here once.

I hope it's double lenght. Even if it was totally new (and not just an extended episode) I'd still be annoyed about buying a DVD with only one episode, if it was a normal lenght episode. I woner if this new episode has anything to do with the delay.

I wonder what kind of extras they could have. I think their at least going to need voice actor interviews and commentary, to make up for only one episode. Maybe it will be another Tenchi encyclopedia thing, like they did for the first two OVAs and Daughter of Darkness (I think)
