Well I FINALLY got a chance to get aroudn to watching it! Thought it was gunna be like the RahXephon movie: almost like a recap show, but different scenes and plot. Nope! I was wrong (thankfully).

I always love watching a different view on things (which is why anime->manga can be fun to do^^) But using the same basic story, it is a total different retelling and for once it's more of a love story (which is what I thought the direction of the TV series was going!)

So yeah... after reading but a few angry fans of the show in my "fuss" topic, I suggest giving the movie a bit of a try, which might live up a bit more to expectations. As a warning though... more nudity/skin is portrayed in it, (both sexes) as well as one that suggests it's leading to something more (which is does offscreen...) So yeah those might be a turnoff to some, but still a really good piece of artowrk the movie is (well in a literal sense too, cause lots of sketchy drawings are used throughout the thing, as well as paintings).

So... that's about it! Give it a try if you want to see, or if you've already seen it, what were your thoughts on it?

Hmmm well for the most of it, liek in the TV series with the winged people, it's more of non-sexual nudity, except now it's been detailed a bit more. The Paintings also depict nudity, but would be more concidered that "artistic nudity". There was a bath scene involving a guy, nothing is seen, but stil still all the rest of the skin is seen. And like I said being more of a love story, the one brief "sexual scene" lasts for only about couple, less than a second-long clips. Hmmm to compare it, it was sort of like the one scene in Saikano except ALOT shorter and not as explicit (in AIR skin is shown, not really nudity, and kissing is the only action, whereas Saikano had that... plus a bit more.) But yeah short enough that if you blink you just might miss it.

Probably the ONLY part I'd concider fanservice (well I guess you can concider the bath scene fanservciey too,) is where Haruko is drunk and wears a see-through housecoat thingie with lingerie visable underneath.
