Sadly, one having to pay the retail price will be spending almost the same as what they were offered for in the older box set. Usually newer box sets are cheaper in price. Geneon just never seems offer that like the other distributors do. Heads up...the creator of Trigun is in the production stages of a Trigun movie slated to be released in 2007.

Hahah, that she is. What do you guys think about "the original openings"? Personally, I'm geeking out if it's true.

The story about Trigun movie is true.
ANN reported about it, a few days ago. Just this is the frist that I heard on a date for when the movie will be made.
The October issue of Neo magazine (A UK Anime magazine) includes an interview with Studio Madhouse's founder, Masao Maruyama. In it he says the studio is working on a Trigun Movie that should be released in a "couple of years". The November issue of Anime Insider also confirms this news.

Dude that's awesome! Though I don't know about the movie I'm guessing that it's going to based off of the Trigun Planet Gunsmoke game that they were trying to make but nothing ever happened with.

All right, well it should be cool. I loved the Cowboy Bebop movie. This should be even better. (just because I like Trigun best)
