good for Naruto fans, but not for One Piece :/

The release is of the TV dub edited version by 4Kids which is apparently the only version that will be released. ANN indicates later in the news that it will not receive a mixed release like Naruto."


:/ I wonder if itis because One Piece is just sooooo long to do all over again or if they ever even licensed the orginal show :/ Grrr! If they did couldn't they just make EVERYONE happy and make a billingual release? And if it's "for the children's eyes" of having t uncut event try and experemental off/on button for uncut/cut version. Gah! This always happens with "kiddie anime"!

Yeah... but the one thing that bugged me with the manga is the random "Zoro" to "Zolo" change JUST because they called him that in the dub :/ Oy... Was it REAAAAALLY necessary?

Yeah. I mean, God forbid they should release an uncut Japanese DVD of one piece ONLY and a separate DVD like they did with Cardcaptor Sakura.

WHICH, by the way, the uncut Japanese DVDs of Cardcaptor Sakura outsold the English edited DVDs at a THREE TO ONE ratio.

Apparently, the motto at 4Kids is, "We hate money! And anime fans!"

It could still happen in the future. It took years for uncut Sailor Moon to appear.
