CAA: Christian Anime Alliance

Anyone know anything about this series? I came across it last night in Best Buy and it looked interesting.

Also, Scrapped Princess, any view points - that one seems quite popular?

12 kingdoms is really coool. My friend Jooh and his wife lent me some of the DVD's. It's a fantasy series. the story is awsome. It's based on a series of novels.

Ratings on Violence, nudity etc? General story?

Oh gee its been awhile since I watched juuni kokki (12 kingdoms).. Pretty good on the content if I remember correctly. I remember one scene where she's taking a bath, but I don't think anything was seen. Violence is a little more, but there's not buckets of blood every second. Its half action half politics I guess... Its just really good. Its currently on a slight hiatus until more of the novels the series is based on come out, but its sitting pretty at 46 episodes (or something). General story is your basic fantasy thing... its well thought out ^^

Oh, I heard about this series not too long ago...It looks really cool! But, since it's only anime, I doubt I'll be getting it soon...Too expensive!

There is a lot of blood. It's about a girl who really doesn't fit in. She tries her best to be good. one day a kirian comes and her and her 2 friends go to another world where she is the new queen. It's pretty intresting.

Yeah 12 Kingdoms is an awesome Anime in fact its the best one ive seen so far. Its pretty good on the content. i think there might me a bast--d word once or twice but the language is very minimal(that was only in the first 3 volmes wich ive seen). It has a great story line and is VERY interesting. I highly recamend it!

My experience with 12 Kingdoms is limited to two episodes. From these two episodes, I can say that I'm not impressed. Overall, I find it very wierd. It's fun to ridicule the characters, but that's not a good reason to spend money on a series.

Scrapped Princess is the better choice. I decided to purchase it once I read an article describing the series in Anime Insider (a great source of information). The ideas contained in the series are interesting and one becomes interested in the fate of the characters. The only main character who inspires ridicule is the "dragon" being, but that's not very often.
