i was told there would be a second season of princess nine? has anyone heard?

I haven't hear anything about a second season. I'm a huge princess nine fan so if they would release it, I would probably buy it.
Though to be honest, think if they made a second season, the series would loose the spark it had-story and character developement. It ended nicely so I don't think there's a need to make a longer series. It would be a bit predictable in a sense.

It would be nice to see them actually make their goal of winning at Koshien.

No second season has ever been announced. Usually, if something like this was in production you would hear about it. But this title is relatively outdated and the percentage of those being continued on is rather small.

[spoiler]I really knew they would not. When it came down to it at the end, I felt the anime was rather sexist: No way would they allow the boys team to be defeated by the girl's team in the end
And just to be nitpicky, there is no way both the boys and girl's team could wind up in the Finals at Koshien: the tournament doesn't work that way: they'd have to have played each other to see who got in to the tournament.[/spoiler]
