Long vs. Short

So...which do you prefer? A series with 50+ episodes [RuroKen, InuYasha, Bleach, Naruto] or the ones with 26 episodes or less [Pretear, Furuba, Air TV]?
I prefer the short sweet ones. ^ ^ ~<3 My attention span only lasts for so long.
Also, the availability is better, IMO, because for long series, you have to track down every last episode, because you don't know when it will be gone or sold out.

I will say long series are much more expensive ... *glares at Urusei Yatsura and Ranma 1/2*

Twenty six episodes exactly. That's what I prefer.

Depends on the series. I really like titles like Maison Ikkoku, Marmalade Boy, Kaleido Star, Nadia. At the same time I also like titles like Someday's Dreamers, Piano, Nuku Nuku, Rumiko Takahashi's Anthology. I really could go either way in regard to length.

I prefer short.
Its the quality not the quantity, imho....
If you can get a really good series fleshed out and completed with the utmost satisfaction in 26 episodes, then its way better than those that have 100+ episodes.

Short. Long costs too much.

Short, because it's cheaper, AND longer ones have a tendency to drag...often. Really, if you take the filler eps out of most long anime series, they'd usually end up being about 26 episodes. x_x

Short series. There are exceptions like Hajime no Ippo, DBZ or slam dunk but for the most part, shorter series tend to have less fillers and focused more on character developement. I say I perfer 13episode ones. Though 26 is okay

Although I have enjoyed Bleach and Naruto to a certain extent, my preference is definitely for short series. Every good story has a beginning and an end, and I consider it a serious flaw if the end is much more than 26 episodes away from the beginning.
Additionally, several anime series I have greatly enjoyed have only been 13 episodes long: Hellsing, Haibane Renmei, Gunslinger Girl, the original Record of Lodoss War. Otogizoushi, even though it is a full series, gets an honorable mention for consisting of two short story arcs.

26 episodes or less, definitely~ The only 2 series I've gone after that are longer are Get Backers and Saiyuki.

It doesn't matter to me as long the anime itself is good.
I like Trigun and .hack//sign, which are 26 episodes, but I also like One Piece, which is already over 230+ (some of them are fillers, but the actual stroyline episodes seem good).

They should make a rule: no longer than 52 eps AT THE MOST for an anime.
