Haven't seen it yet, but SE is probably expecting most people watching to already know the background. That way they could try to throw in a bunch of cool scenes in the short amount of time they had.

If it has cool fight scenes, that's god enough for me.

Yeah. It has awesome fight scenes. I just wanted to see something that is a sequel to final fantasy 7. It's good enough for me the way it is. I give it a 10/10.
