Any anime you guys have seen lately that just left you wish a, "Wow, that was nice and different feel?" This is probably old, but I got that feeling after watching Appleseed. It was just so different and a nice change than regular stuff I'd be watching.
So any anime leave you guys with that "ooh, ah" feeling?

Yep. One Piece is quite different, trust me.
BTW, what's Appleseed about? I've heard of it, but have no clue about it...

I'll let Amazon describe it for ya:
"Earth's last city, Olympus, rose from the ashes of a global war on the backs of Bioroids, artificial clones who make up half the city's population. Under the strict guidance of a supercomputer, humanity's last survivors enjoy an idyllic peace, but only on the surface Human terrorists within the military seek a return to power and clash with the government's ESWAT forces lead by the legendary soldier, Deunan Knute, and her boyfriend who is 75% machine. Retrieving the Appleseed will end the conflict, and Deunan alone holds its secret. "
You should definitely check it out. The animation is a blast.

Kita-he or Pita-Ten did that for me. But then, I'm the stereotypical girly-girl.

Here is Greenwood.
Very odd, yet really funny.

So this is the 2004 Appleseed movie, not the 1988 original Appleseed production? (If Briareos is a cyborg, it's the later one)
I've seen the '04 movie, and, tbh, the plot seemed kind of predictable. (Seriously, I called just about everything at least 15-30 minutes in advance.)

I think that Samurai 7 was one that just totally amazed me. I actually liked the main girl character, and most of the characters on the show. It has a deep plot without being boring, or too serious.

I definitely wanna check some of these out. I want to watch the original "Seven Samurai" before watching 7 Samurai. And I was referring to the '04 appleseed.
