Not on purpose. I haven't had a chance since I keep getting dragged away on the weekends.

Umm...You do realize this is an Anime board, right?
And most of us live in the USA, so I doubt we will be
watching in JP instead.

Yup, been here since CAA started.

Yup. Though not intentionally. Sometimes I'll go a month or so without watching because I've become sidetracked by something else.

Yeah. This happened to me before. Not intentional, just something else takes up all my attention at the time.

Actually, I've been losing interest these past 2 months or so, hardly watched any

lol...odd. although i find this thread kind of...pointless, i guess it's interesting to those who have been here a long time and perhaps dont find themselves addicted anymore.
however, 'down with anime in the US' is kind of...overboard? unless it's a kind of sarcasm or something. *shrug* but yeah... There's nothing wrong with anime. Just like any addiction, they come and go. Life is all about phases.

Of course, in my case it was a 6 year phase where I studied the language and culture constantly. Kind of weird how dedicated I was.

Like a new toy.
Maybe we just grow up in a way.

Same here.
Though if SOMEONE would mail me the last six eps of Full Moon, I'd watch those.

*confuzzled* Maybe the thread's author is fed up with mainstream anime culture and shoddy Region 1 DVDs?

I like anime but I feel it closes peoples minds quite a bit.
Not to long ago I was quite sheltered. I was the only person in town (that I knew of) with any interest in anime. But recently as I explore online more I begin to see more anime fans, and how they act so much alike.
I voted yes, its not going to stop me from watching though ;P

I enjoy anime and manga but its not easy to rent in Australia and buying stuff is usually the only option and that's expensive. We very rarely have anime on tv. I haven't watched anime for about 1 month probably but I don't have many. Last Exile was the last one I watched. Got to watch Metropolis and Noir again.

Hmm I watch some anime almost everynight.. When I get off of CAA I go to my room and flip on Adult Swim and FMA is usually on...
Of course I have cut back on my anime' fetish and have replaced it with CAA... I watch anime from time to time..and I still draw it as much as I can... but I have found that I don't watch as much.. I tend to read more manga than anime
Btw W4J LAST EXILE ROX!

Uh..no. ^^;
I watch anime more often now then before. Partially because it's the summer, so I can.
I also discovered...four new anime. So I'm watchin all of those.
They may take awhile...

Up with anime in the US! The more the better, and I hate going a day without watching any. The only thing I can say is no more rotten dubs or DVDs with dub only, and we need more subbed anime shown on TV.

Ugh..this has turned pretty ugly.... I wonder if we should all stop arguing and just be friends?

I wish I could watch more anime, but with my current budget, I have to choose between games and anime, and gaming wins.

I can sometimes go a long periods without seeing an anime (aside from on TV). But that's usually during the school year. I think probably 3 months is the longest I've gone w/o watching anime. I usually just watch a few episodes here and there- nothing too extreme.

Comments aimed at one another would probably not be wise. I'll leave it at that; I think this thread can be a civil discussion.
I rarely watch anime regardless (I imagine I do go some months without seeing any), so this hardly matters to me. Because I've never been "obsessed" with anime, I also doubt I'll really get sick of it.
Confusion in terms

That's what he meant when he said down with anime? I thought he meant it in the sense of "are you down with it", meaning do you like it.
