Pretty much. The rest of us only like anime with loads of blood and violence. Just kidding.
I love Fruits Basket. That's softer, right?

Wow, another Marmalade Boy fan! That's so rare around here. I love the series -- never read the manga, though.

I like softer things, on some level. For instance, I loved Fruits Basket (anime, haven't read the manga). If something is really just romantic without drama or action or SOMETHING else, I don't usually like it. But yeah, sure. You're not the only person who likes milder stuff!
It's cool.

I love Marmelade Boy. I like Piano, too, which is far softer than MB...

I love marmalade boy. I really really love Fruit baskets!! i actually read a lot of cute shoujo besides all the Shonen stuff. I get Ribon, which has a lot of cute stories. I like Aishiteruze Baby. That is really super sweet. It does have some that aren't jsut cute shoujo like Star Blacks.

I'm a big Marmalade Boy fan, as well. There's tons of fans here, we just don't talk about it a lot.
Could it be that it's a shojo title and a lot of us are males?

Oh not yet. There's like 8 volumes in all. At least it's short. Er... is it eight or is it three? Tokyopop confused me... Hey, Maramlade Boy isn't on the Tokyopop book list.
EDIT: Okay, it's eight volumes.

It's a really sweet series. My sister took my copies of the first 2 volumes. So I let her have them. I've read the whole series. It's really good.
And I think we are related on the adoption thread. Heheh

I loved the premise of Marmalade Boy: "We're going to trade wives with this random couple we met and all live in the same house! Oh, by the way they have a really hot son your age. Have fun!"
Also loved the number of relationships in that anime. You almost had to draw it out on a graph.
And who can forget their oh-so-flattering depiction of New York City?

I really want to see Marmalade boy, i've heard nothing but great things.
But no, your're not the only one who likes softer animes. I occasionally like to watch them too. Things from Someday's Dreams to Kimagure Orange Road and so far Figure 17. It's all good.
