I discovered that anime sales in South Africa are on the increase. I discovered that they're selling Trigun and so I bought the first volume on a blind buy and have yet to watch it. But I'd like to know - how many DVDs are in the series?

I think these are ports of the US versions I've seen on Amazon.com. Four episodes per volume, right?

Pretty much, I've seen the Trigun Volumes in all kinds of stores, Suncoast is a pretty good source, however pretty expensive. Then again Discount Anime Dvd . com is a really good source of Anime for really good prices. Anyways, it's 4 Episodes per volume ,except for the really special volumes, which can range to six episodes.

This would be correct if there's 26 episodes in the show. That's how they work it with 8 dvd series, though they might redo the order having the 4-episoders in the middle of the sequence. If it's a 7 disc show it's usually 5-4-4-4-3-3-3 or 5-4-3-4-3-4-3. With 6 discs it's almost always 5-5-4-4-4-4.

Actually I think it goes 4-3-3-3-3-3-3-4. But close enough :thumb:
