I admit I'm a bit of a fan.. it's a very good series, and has inspired many people to take up kendo :dizzy:
Really good story too.

spoiler button...?
oh and a question: why does kenshin's eyes sometimes become golden yellow in the anime?

Seeing as I've never actually seen the anime, but I have read up to vol. 6 in the manga and I have several friends who've seen the series, I'm pretty sure when Kenshin's eyes turn gold it means he's gone into 'Hitokiri' mode, aka his "death glare," and such...

Minjigga:

Kenshin rocks...pure and simple.....Nice ta meet you by the way, great taste in anime.

Hope:

Hi! Don't think we ever met, but anyways I don't feel like spoiling the ending for you, being I hate it when people do that to me, I'll leave it a surprise..

Justice:

Once again, Hi! The question about Kenshin's eyes is that it's just a visual metephore to show when Kenshin reverts back to his training as an assasin. His former life as an assasin is treated as an instinct like nature, so whenever he's pushed too far emotionally, this nature takes over so to speak.Hence, the animal like yellow eyes, hope this explains it some.

God Bless,
Archan

I wished they would start showing Kenshin on Toonami again. I looked forward to that show every week. And when it starts getting good they take it off air. Darn :(

They probably take it off so you'll buy the DVDs...I see CN as previews for DVDs.

Kenshin's cool when his eyes get yellow...means he's super-ticked-off and always means that he's about to use an awesome move.

It's one of, if not my favorite anime. I have only seen the series on CN (can't afford to buy any), but I do own the movie and the OVA Reflections (boo hoo, so sad :waah!: !). I enjoy the mix of slapstick and action. I just love the way his eyes go "battousi" and he starts swinging his sword.
I'm also collecting the translated manga and am enjoying it as much as the anime.

Spoiler: At the end of the series, Kenshin decides he needs to earn some money, so he starts drawing manga of his adventures.
