I just recently saw the first volume of R.O.D. the TV at my library and checked it out, and I've really enjoyed it. ^^ The animation is excellent, and the characters are great, and I love the paper fighting.

Truthfully, though, beyond what I've seen on the first volume and the little bit I've seen on G4TV, I don't know much about the series. on the commentary, they mentioned it stands for 'Read or Die', and I know I've heard of a manga series titled that...although I really don't know much about it. So far, besides the, erm, 'interesting' intro, and the occational swearing, I haven't seen anything to be worried about. Anything I should know about it?

Yeah the Mini Pencil boards that some of the series come with. Other then that nothing overly bad. Plus if you are worried about the occasional swear word .. you chose a pretty odd hobby to like.

I have seen the whole series. There is some rather blatent nudity in volume three, but other then that its exellent. I love this series. The characters are awesome the animation is exellent and the story is original. A must see. Just be warned about volume three. Its not very long, but still.

I have seen some of the series, it is very good to me. Like another person mentioned, the story line is very original and refreshing. All in all, I really enjoy the series.

Well the series was great. the movie takes place before the series it talks all about yomoiko readmen and her adventure. But all in all the whole magic magic was best describle as "SWEET." Well at lease I LOVE IT.

I love it it's my fave of the new season of AU. :thumb:
Michelle is such a riot at times but then also she can surprise you by
actually being able to think in an anayltical manner.

you all sould get the dvds i think they will be releasing the whole thing. the commentary and previews are the best
the show ties in very nicely with the ovas so you should watch them before the TV
