Also, is the beggining song of Ghost in the Shell (Inner Universe) in Japanese or German?

Angely i demony kruzhili nado mnoj
Razbivali ternii i zvyozdnye puti*
Ne znaet schast'ya tol'ko tot,
Kto ego zova ponyat' ne smog...

I am Calling Calling now, Spirits rise and falling
Soboj ostat'sya dol'she...
Calling Calling, in the depth of longing
Soboj ostat'sya dol'she...

Stand alone... Where was life when it had a meaning...
Stand alone... Nothing's real anymore and...

...Beskonechnyj beg...
Poka zhiva ya mogu starat'sya na letu ne upast',
Ne razuchit'sya mechtat'...lyubit'...
...Beskonechnyj beg...

Calling Calling, For the place of knowing
There's more that what can be linked
Calling Calling, Never will I look away
For what life has left for me
Yearning Yearning, for what's left of loving

Soboj ostat'sya dol'she...
Calling Calling now, Spirits rise and falling
Soboj ostat'sya dol'she...
Calling Calling, in the depth of longing
Soboj ostat'sya dol'she...

SAC has 26 episodes on 7 DVDs.

The opening is a combination of a Russian based language, some english and a bit of japanese and latinas far as I can tell.

mechana, was that based off the lyrics I posted? The Russian part? I mean, it can't be Japanese I don't think...v isn't in their language as far as I remember. But it was done by Yoko Kanno, a Japanese artist.

Olga Elenova sings it. And it's all in Russian. It was composed by Kanno for SAC.

Ah, thanks. I knew that 'i' did not mean 'and' in Japanese. The beginning means "Angels and demons flying around me" or something.

There's an interview on one of the disks (4 or 5?) about that song. The girl singing it was given freedom to sing what she wanted to - apparently she doesn't speak Japanese, so she couldn't understand any directions she would have been given, anyways.

Well Kanno did compose it anyway. And I remember hearing somewhere her stage name is not really Origa in Russian but that's how she chose to represent herself in the Japanese music industry. Kinda like a "artist formerly known as Prince" thing or something.
