Heh, well, it's really nothing to do with a comedy, that's for sure. ^^;

There's a live action prequel movie called Boogeipop And Others(I think
that's the name)and also a live action movie version.
Nagy is played in the dub by Rachel Lillis better known for playing
Misty and Jessie in Pokemon. :jump:

Ok... Boogiepop didn't start as a manga, but as a non-graphical novel series. That series is now available here, too... I'm not sure about the manga, but the books are the true canon above the manga, and the movies and anime would be secondary, the manga would be last. The anime takes place between two of the books, and one of the live action movies, I believe, is based on book 1, but I could be wrong about that...

There are two live action movies, but the one I saw... It was cheesy through most of the movie, but there were a couple of gross out moments (Mmm... Eyeball) There just isn't any way of transferring boogiepop's cape into live action... A starfield in the cape looks cool in animation, but it will always look bad in live action... That, and while, since the characters all look so similar, it's easy to hide boogiepop's identity in the anime, they had to cover her face in the LA movie, so they basically changed her headpiece for that... There is only one execution in the movie I watched, which was a bit disappointing too...

Anyhow, this is one of my faves...
