Hey guys.

I was watching Rurouni Kenshin - Dreams of Youth and during the end credits was something pretty interesting.

It was Kenshin's cross-scar and it was glowing. Then everything faded except for the scar, which rotated until it was vertical like a "t"...then it faded and showed the steeple of a church and the cross matched up with the scar. Then it went to the inside of the church with all this stained glass and there was a sakabatou in the floor, casting the shadow of a cross.

Hmm.

If anyone has Dreams of Youth, you should watch the end credits. (And the song rocks, too. ^_^)

What is dreams of youth?

Aye, I've seen that ending. Quite like it, especially for that end scene and the glimpses we get of Tomoe throughout the credits.

If only they had animated the Jinchuu arc....

Anyway, I think that has more to do with the 'Christian' Arc, in the next few DVDs after the Kyoto Arc.

There is a difference between a "T" and a "Cross," but I see where you come from. That could be true. .. .. .. .... .. . . .yet, you will never know until they say so ... . .... . . .. .

Plus, I haven't seen that movie, so, I don't know what it looked like.

Dreams of Youth? Never heard of it...Hey, what's the whole Christian arc about? I never got to see it, they took Ruroken off the air before I got the chance to watch...(never even got to see the Kyoto Arc animated... .~_~. Stupid CN! ^_^) So has anyone here seen it? From the things I've heard, it's pretty controversial, but that's just what I've heard. Is it any good?

This is all so intriguing, I've just discovered RK. Looking to pick them up on DVD.

Ah! What's this about a "Christian" arc? Sorry if I'm sounding like a total know-nothing RK fan... I thought I knew the whole series, but I haven't seen all of the anime. I'm reading the manga, and I've seen all of Samurai X because I already knew(or thought I knew) everything that occurred in the series...but... this is the only arc that I've never heard mentioned before.

I did like the imagry of that credit sequence. About the Christians:

[spoiler]The gang comes across a Christian cult. The cult is lead by a guy who's a lot more like Sun Young Moon instead of Billy Graham, if you catch my drift. It gets messy, but there are some redeeming qualities. There's so real history behind the church in Japan, though, and that was interesting.[/spoiler]

What is Dreams of Youth? Is it one of the episodes for the tv series or another movie? I've never heard of it. I own the OVA collection (Trust, Betrayal, Reflections), and the only other thing I'm aware of is the 3 seasons of the tv series with another movie somewhere in that mix. So what's this Dreams of Youth?

It's the title of the 19th DVD in the TV series.

wow sounds cool! i'll have to go watch it ^^

The Christian arc isn't, in my opinion, offensive as it's a real historical event.
