This series looked really cool, until I read some stuff about it.
Has anyone heard of/seen it?

I was looking at the description on animenfo, and it seemed like it had the capacity to be either pretty good or pretty bad. What I've read about it makes it look like it might be a bit more unpleasant than many users here may prefer. I myself have limited space, so I'm kind of wondering myself if it's worth seeing.
So I guess I'm in the same place as Impact Alberto here. (scary, no?)
Anyone have a positive recommendation for it?

mm..I would reccommend against it.
I watched first episode. The art is pretty nice, the characters are intriguing, but there's random highly disturbing content 2/3 of the way through. It doesn't last long, but it's just odd and evil. And what i've read about the following episodes isn't exactly comforting.
it's a judgment call of course. even after seeing what content I did, i'm still tempted to watch more b/c I liked the feel of things. kinda dark and serious. but yeah, make sure to pay alot of attention to what you're getting yourself into before getting hooked.
there's a content discussion going on over on the animesuki forums for this show if you haven't already seen that. could be helpful

When there's questionable anime, there's me.
And I echo FadedOne about the disturbing imagery. It gets worse, very much, from the first episode. Intriguing story and characters, but I really don't recommend it at all. In fact, if things don't start getting less disturbing and nauseating by episode 5, I'm going to stop watching it. In retrospect, I'm already regretting keeping up with it till now.
Things in the anime that you may find questionable: graphic nudity, extreme gore/violence, satanic imagery (includes, but not limited to, giant satanic goat statue), shockingly graphic adult situations (orgies, bondage, and goes downhill from there), fetishes you rather not know about, child abuse (mother starves teenage daugther, then proceeds to really screw said daughter's mind), just... a lot of stuff that makes you wonder how it got past any sort of minimal censorship to get on TV.
Promising series, and cool concept of using a camera to blow up things (kinda like Fatal Frame on steroids), but really really didn't need to see, or hear, many of the disgusting stuff the makers could have left out and just hint at.
