LOL, this post is just a funny little idea I cam eup with... *clears thoat*

Why would you wish you were an anime character? Here a a few reasons you might:

1) They can alway think of come back jokes.

2) Whether they fall in the water, get caught in a sand storm or fall out of an airplane, their hair stays PERFECT!

3) They never seem to have a boring day (If they complain about something being boring, you know its going to be an action-packed episode!)


Help me out with the list here people!

1 flyings always great

2 awsome hair

3 "you gotta have blue hair"

4 complete coolness, i mean is there any anime character that isnt always cool

I was just about to say that I'd never again have to comb my hair in the morning.

lol, this is a great thread. Hmm, I have many reasons of why it would be nice to be an anime character. Maybe the super-asian abilities. Oh wait, I already have those, hehe. Uh yea, the hair being perfect all the time would be great, lol, what with all the cool styles and everything. That and yea, no boring days!

The eyes! They've got to have at least 20/5 vision with those eyes!

Being an anime charater would be the best...I'd almost get killed in one episode, then come back all fine and stuff the next. And I'd have yellow eyes, and purple hair that looks all cool. And if you're in the right show, you get super powers and stuff. And every episode would be action packed. Never boring. I'd love it.

Yes and having oddly colored eyes, unique hair, and outlandish clothing would be perfectly acceptable!

How about your mouth gets big enough when you yell that you can cram a whole sub sandwich in there? It would make eating faster.

The hair, definately the hair.

No bug bites or skin problems (Acne, etc.)
It doesn't matter what horrible injuries are inflicted on you, you'll always have a perfect set of teeth.
No male pattern baldness.

They always have cool parents that let them do anything they want...
If I was Kagome's mother (InuYasha) I don't think I'd let my daughter go in the past to fight demons

The cool weapons and powers skills and the different quests or journeys the stories are base on defenetly the hair cool hair and it satys like that all the time

It wouldn't matter what kind of clothes you have. The weirder and hardest to move in or get to work (like the ribbions on Miho's hair [MT])the best actually...

and of cource my boots would be way cooler, like robot boots,

If I were a non-main character on Sailormoon, nothing really bad could happen and human beings were all pretty much good, so there would be no crime... Being a non-main character means that I wouldn't die for dramatic purposes at the hands of the villains. That would be a pretty safe existance...

The hair the hair!! My hair is already all over the place but it doesnt look as cool.

Also when I gt mad my head would swell up and my teath would become pointy and I could yell at people.

The chibi; would love to hit someone with a fan while not having a nose.

When I am about to throw an attack the bgound would change making me seem more powerful.

End up in some wacky story where I always win.

1) The funny expressions (I try to pull them off in real life...nah doesn't work)
2) Most characters look young and very beautiful/handsome (they have pimple/cellulite/potbelly/split-ends/acne worry free lives sigh)
3) It's hard to die....they've got lotsa blood in their bodies.

I think the best thig wold be the fact that you allways get the atention you want, plus the cool hair that never get mess up...

The supressed instinctive abililty to pilot a giant mech.

I think another cool thing would be the weapons. They have cool weapons that would never work in real life, LOL!

1. The hair. There is no such thing as a "bad hair day" for anime characters. I could also have weird and wild hair... hair in an unnatural color or in a style that defys the laws of physics. I tried spiking my hair up for cosplaying Vash... It just wasn't going to happen. Of course, there is much more fun hair out there - Yugi hair, Jessie/Mushashi from Pokemon hair... I rather like Integra's (Hellsing) hair because it's all long and flowy.

2. The eyes. No, I do not want bigger than normal eyes - I just like the variety of eye colors anime characters get. In Neon Genesis Evangelion, for instance, two of the characters have red eyes. I'd love to have freaky, blood red eyes.

3. You can spout philosophy without people thinking you are a dork or overly weird or boring (usually). You can get the BEST quotes!

4. No matter what you eat or how much, or how much exercise you actually get, you will have a perfect body.

5. Assume now that your body isn't completely "perfect". Say you've got scars. Well, folks, those scars on your anime self will... look really cool. (Okay, so I'm a bit weird... I like scarred anime characters). Vash looks good with his scars (I think), I like Misato's big body scar, I think the scar over the eye of Anderson from Hellsing is cool.. and I find Jet (Cowboy Bebop) very cool looking for that metal thing he has going on over his eye.

6. When you get angry, you can have scary flames rise up behind you!

7. Sweatdropping rocks.

8. No matter how much blood you loose, or how many times you get "blasted off", you will survive.

9. Your actions as an individual really CAN change the world!

10. If you do have a death wish... you will get a really cool death scene, and often a really cool song to go with it.

11. You get cool animal companions or really cool animals... just randomly show up. Personally, I'd love to have Yakul from Princess Mononke... or a penguin like PenPen from Eva... or that Daddy Cat from Azumanga Daioh!

12. You don't have to be a human. If you are in anime, you can be the member of some mysterious, non-human yet humanoid-looking race, the product of a weird genetic experiment, or maybe even a cat-girl or cat-boy. Or maybe you are just an android who wants to be human. That's cool, too. I would like to truly be able look at the human race from a non-human perspective.

13. You get to weild cool weapons, perhaps even weapons of mass destruction. Personally, I'd just like something simple, such as a cool, magical sword.

14. The use of said weapons will come as an instinctual talent. (Take mecha-piloting).

15. No matter what you wear, the weather does not bother you. Take being scantily clad in the snow, or my favorite example... long flowing capes and trenchcoats in hot, even desert conditions.

16. If you revel in angst, you are cool, and not just an obnoxious whiner - IF you don't overdo it.

17. You could get cool appendages. If you are in a futuristic anime - parts of you could be cybernetic! If you are in a fantasy anime, you could get something else. I'd love to have cute little Haibane wings! (Though, if I had wings... I'd seriously like ones actually capbable of flight). Haibane wings are still cool, though, because they're cute.
