Who's seen it yet? It looks totally awesome, something expected of Hayao Miyazaki.....the setting I think is similar in some ways to Spirited Away... check it out. Just scroll down for whichever media player you prefer...I can't wait!

Hauru no Ugoku Shiro (Howl's Moving Castle) is an excellent movie. Everyone should see it, the only Miyazaki I like better is Sen to Chihiro no Kamikakushi (Spirited Away), and I've seen all of Miyazaki's films besides Nausicaa (Netflix hasn't had it available yet, but I will probably get to finally see it soon). Judging by the trailer, the dub looks very good, and for me that's saying alot since I really have a low tolerance for anime dubs. The voices sounds pretty true to the Japanese from what I can tell. Though I've already seen the movie (downloaded a fansubbed version shot by a camcorder in a Japanese theater), I really want to see its domestic theatrical release, just so I can see a Miyazaki on the big screen. And if I can't find a theater that will show it in Japanese, at least I don't think I'll have to be worried about the dub.

Yeah, actually, I like Disney's subs. They actually get voice actors who can
act. *gasp!* Yes, it's a novel concept, I know.
Now, all I need to do it aquire the list of cities that the theatrical release is for.

It only goes to a couple places on June 10th, like New York and LA. But on the 17th, it has a much more wide-spread release.

The seventeenth of June. *checks calendar* YAY! I'll still be in North America then too! *celebrates once more*
Now, we just have to find the "selected cities" list. For some reason, I always have the roughtest time locating those.
