Ah, snap, The dub's bad? *sigh*I wanted to see that. . .
Every year in Uganda, innumerable children simply. . . disappear. These children all stolen under the cover of darkness from their homes and impressed into the guerilla armies of the LRA [Lord's Resistance Army]. In the deserts of Uganda, they are forced to witness the mindless slaughter of other children until they themselves can do nothing but kill. Kill. These children, generally ranging from ages 5-12, are brainwashed into murdering in the name of the resistance and into stealing other children from their beds to suffer the same fate.

Because of this genocide of innocence, hundred and hundreds of children live every night sleeping in public places miles from their homes, because they know that if the do not-- they will disappear. They will become just another number in this genocide to which the international community has chosen to turn a blind eye. They will become, in affect, invisible-- Invisible Children.

But there are those who are trying to fight against this slaughter of Uganda's children. They fight to protect these "invisible children." Please, help them help a country full of children who know nothing by fear. Help save the innocence. For more information concerning how you can help and how you can get an incredible video about this horrific reality, visit the Invisible Children home page.

If you seen the dub of the Escaflowne series , then you will be hearing just about the same dub cast for the movie.

At frist, I thought it was going to be Escaflowne series and was really happy. Then I found out it was the movie and it made Wingy very sad! :sniffle:

I saw five episodes of s-CRY-ed.

The dub seemed fine to me.

Do you have to see the Escaflowne series before you can see the movie? And what's it rated?

You don't have to see the series or the movie in any order. The movie is nothing more then retell the story from another POV.

The moive is rated PG-13.

I've always wanted to see s-CRY-ed, and have seen the Bebop movie, and Metropolis, and the Inuyasha movie, Beyond the Looking Glass.

Good, good stuff. Looking forward to it.

Well, the only bad news is, FMA and GitS will taking off for 13 weeks when they run Samurai Champloo and Paranoia Agent takeover or that is what the plan is.

Looks like we not see any new eps of FMA untill Nov or that the plan right now.

Same here. I think they'd have to cut out half of the third episode to get it television acceptable, unless decency standards have fallen off the face of the Earth.

I'm guessing Bandai uses the same translation and dubbing service for all of its titles?

Then FMA will come back or that is the plan, but you will not see anymore new eps untill late Fall of this year for FMA. CN has the rights to run all of the eps, but they going to stop after ep 26 or 25 for now.

Why do you think they edit the heck out of Champloo when they have very little edit GITS and they have even kept most of the really bad words in for GITS.

Remember, this is not the AS that we frist saw. They are making alot changes on what they are showing and if they can keep just about everything in the Jungle Cruise ep of GITS. Then, I don't see a whole alot of problems with Champloo.

The first two Inuyasha movies and the CB movie are awesome. Does anyone know when the third Inuyasha movie comes out on DVD? I bought the first two and I can't wait for the next two.

I suppose what will happen will be that the new Inuyasha eps will continue to air on Mon.-Wed. weekday and then whenever GITS:Second Gig and
the new FMA eps air it will probably return to Saturdays with reruns. This is just,of course me guessing.I could be wrong.I wonder what Anime Unleashed will air as a counterprogamming.

doom and destruction!! i fear this too, but i at least think they'll keep it as close as can be to original. im not too worried about shamploo, but you never know with those crazies.

i am loving subtitled anime more and more these days. english dubs/american releases just dont hold up to their originals anymore.
