Yahoo! I found out that Jubei-chan 2 is finally coming out here in the States this June! I can't wait! I want to preorder it, but the only way they have it right now is as a standalone first volume. I want it with an artbox if they decided on an artbox...
Still, I'm excited! I hope there's gonna be plenty more Bantaro and the Ruffians (see my avatar).
Anyway, any fellow Jubei fans also excited? Anyone? Hm? Anyone?

*does the happy doughnut dance* WOOHOO! Finally, the sequel's licensed! This is the series that made me forgive MADHOUSE for what they did to Trigun!

I didn't know Madhouse did Trigun. Huh, you learn something new everyday.
I've only just begun watching Trigun, but I like it so far. It's a bit overrated it seems, but now that I've accepted its overrated status, I think I'll enjoy the ride. I'm thinking the manga was better or something for you to say that, though.
Back to Jubei-chan 2, I wonder if Koinosuke will return or anything. No one tell me, though! I want to be surprised!

I personally hope he doesn't. Don't get me wrong, I like the guy, but I always feel cheated when I think a character is gone and they go and bring him back. I didn't really think it needed a sequel, but I will suspend my judgment until I see it. Of course I will definitely watch anything that Daichi puts forth.

Yeah, you do have a point. Of course, with the last series' penchant for coming up with crazy plot twists, bringing back Koinosuke in an extremely funny way would be nice.
I do hope, on that note, that a bunch of new and old characters are in the show, to offer some novelty to we fans of the first series.

Yesh, ten thousand times better. In my opinion, at least. What happened was, the anime is based off the manga (vaguely) until the last five episodes, which take the story and characters in a drastically different direction.

Yes, I definitely hope to see more of the ruffians, and it might be amusing to see what some of the reformed Ryujoji warriors are up to now.

Yeah, I would love to see the warrior who wanted to become a singer again.

I'm really not sure what they'll do with a sequel, but I am excied none-the-less. Bring it on!

I've heard that part 2 is much more drama.

I've read a little about it online, so I know some of the basic plot. Some of it seems to have potential some of it just seems like a convenient source of new villians.
