Well, you could make pretty posters all over school inviting people to come to your club, highlighting all the great things that y'all do...or even try to get into your school announcements.

also remember you'll get a lot of crude remarks by people who dont like anime. People will say things such as "you have a hentai club what?" or "why do you have an ANIME club????"
but yeah, if your school has a bulletien, try putting an ad in there

There probably also going to be a lot of people who don't know what anime or manga(for that matter)is,so prepared to answer a lot of questions. If your school as a Japanese language class perhaps you could see about having the teacher sponsor your club.

Well, the neat thing is our school is private and SMALL anyways it's easy to get into the announcements. Another thing is we have a teacher who's part Japanese on her mother's side and she loves anime and she's sponsoring our club.
We had the first meeting today and all 4 of us had a good time. but it still kinda stinks that in a school of about 300 something students we only have 5 people in the club. And as for the posters we could make very many posters for a school that is one hallway (elementary and all) It's a very small school.
It's also good that basically I'm the only one in the school who knows what hentai (sp?) is. not that i've looked at it i just found out.

Are you actually watching anime (I hope)?
If so, start with titles that will ring bells for many students - like the Academy Award winning Spirited Away. Make posters and advertise you coming attractions.
