I want to know ahead of time, can anyone please tell me where the four InuYasha movies fit into the series? After which eps should I see each of them? Arigatou

YES I GET TO REPLY FIRST!!! ^_^

Ok the first movie is nothing that would twist things up. It doesn't matter about episodes you see

The second one WILL twist things up. Definitely wait till you finish atleast past episode 70-77. Reason being is
Inuyasha manages to KILL Naraku using a new techinique. After Naraku dies they fight a new villian and Inuyasha and Kagome actually kiss.
The third is really helpful because it explains Inuyasha's origins and the true reason to the death of his father. A lot of action and great plot though

Haven't seen the fourth though. Sorry for spoiling things but I don't know how to use spoiler tags
:(

Sorry to be offtopic here.

its
and then end it like the frist part with /spoiler] at the end. Just put the left [ too on the end of the tag.

I heard it was somewhere in the 50s and I needed to see it after a certain amount of eps so there wouldn't be any spoilers.

So I have to see ep 77 before I can see movie 2?

Well in the show we learn that Ryoukoutsei was the true reason behind his dad's death. But in the movie we are told that
Inuyasha'a father is called the Inu no Taisho which means "Leader of the Dogs" he went to fight Ryoukoutsei, sealed him up. Then went to save Inuyasha's mother who is named Izayoi from an evil man named Takemaru who was in love with Izayoi but she left him for Inu Taisho. His pop's showed up, completely destroyed the castle where she was located at then used a new sword only he was able to control called Sou]

I don't know about that but it really has no relation to the show

It's not so much that you NEED to see it persay. But it may just clear things up . All it does is introduce an upgrade to Tessaiga

What would be nice is if I could find a site that showed the date that each episode aired in Japan, and then when each movie was released in Japan. That would probably answer my question.

Strange, Anime News Network says that the first movie was 12/22/01, not 12/15/01. :-/

Well , as an Inuyasha Fan, I'd say the first one somewhat messes things up. For starters, Sesshomaru doesn't have Tokijin yet, he suppose to already, mainly due to the fact that Inuyasha uses his newly found technique for Tetsuiga, The Backlash Wave. So If you haven't seen those episodes where Inuyasha oes againt Reuo... whatever, anyways, it will somewhat bring it out of context. The movie two on the other hand doesn't really mess things up, not unless you haven't seen episodes 70-77 yet. Movie three is pretty good, but I have no clue what Inuyasha timeline it takes place though, somwehere before the 100's.

Could you give us the episode titles for 70-77?
btw:Off topic a bit,but is there any hint given in the movies as to what decade
Inuyasha takes place in the Feudal Era.I know it's supposed to take place some
time between 1478 and 1568 but is there a way of pinpointing the exact decade?
