Great review, Rev. Doc ^_____^ I have to say that I was a bit disappointed in this series. I totally agree with your review, but I tend to like much more action in my anime. I did find it reminiscent of Sentimental Journey for some reason. It could have been the music.

Anyways, you did a great review on it. I did prefer the subbed version, because of the accent they placed on Yume. I'm one of the people who find those overacted accents a bit irritating. -__-;; I would have probably rated it a 7.5 to a generous 8.

I loved this series a lot. If Fruits Basket is a 10 (which it is in my mind because it accomplishes what it tries to do in the shoujo genre), then Someday's Dreamers would have to be a 9, but a very affectionate one. Very slice-of-lifeish. I particularly liked the awesome animation and the way they set up the mage system. And yes, I saw this subbed, not dubbed, so the dubbing of Yumi wasn't a factor for me.

Thanks for the review. I agree w/ the 9/10.

A while back I rented it because I've always had an wondering eye for it... so I figured, heck why not? So I rented it. OVerall I really enjoyed it. Though, I did find one of the middle episodes to be a filler the rest were pretty much coherent. I found the series ended quite nicely; everything was settled and I was quite happy w/ the end results. The ending sure is a emotional one. So if you like those "slice of life" stories that have a pretty solid plot, I would highly recommend it.
SO yeah, accurate review :thumb:

Oh yeah, like SManBeyond said, the animation was superb and crisp. Though I enjoyed the dubbed version :P
