The manga is rated 16+ right?

The manga is rated "crap."
The review I read of it said that it was poorly drawn, had no plot, and nearly every character Kazuma fought was a female wearing a leaf.

Stay away from the manga. But I wouldn't let the manga discourage me from watching the
anime. I recommend the anime.

This may be a dumb question, but how is the title pronounced?

I've always pronounced it: skuh-rye-d, but I could be wrong. ^.^; I picked the pronunciation up from a friend.
Great review! ^^ I'd also reccomend you not touch the manga...I opened it up once upon a time at the bookstore and went "THAT'S supposed to be Kazuma? O.O"

We pronounce it "scrId" at our house.
I don't know anything about the manga, but the anime is alright. There is language. I suggest if you're gonna watch it, start from the first episode. Otherwise, you'll be extremely confused. Um, I started watching it at the fourth episode or so and was confused.

Yeah, I just pronounced it "Scryed." I never did figure out what the title had to do with the show. Same thing with Trigun.
I believe in drastic my soul.

Trigun
Tri = 3
gun = gun

^ What does that have to do with anything? By the same same token, they could have named it Bigun, or Quadrogun.
What am I not getting?

We're getting a bit off topic here. Have you seen the series through the fifth moon incident? If you had you would know...
Vash has three guns; his revolver, his hidden machine-gun, and his angel arm.
