This is a good review, and I totally agree that Bandai did a pretty bad subtitling job, as it is often inaccurate enough to induce frustration (especially if you can understand basic conversational Japanese and know that the subtitles don't always match the spoken words). The show is still good, but the often poor translation decreases the North American release's quality.
Anyway, I just finished Zeta Gundam, and I've got a few comments to add in addition to this review.
Actually, the nudity is shown more often than what is described in this review. In addition to the "comical" shower scene, another shower scene is featured near the beginning with detailed female nudity, and one episode has a female character nude for about 3 or 4 minutes nonstop, with details. The scene shows how childlike this adult female has become mentally, as she is not ashamed to run around naked like a very young little girl, but it is nudity that will likely make Christian viewers uncomfortable.
Otherwise, I would just mention that the Newtype theme is even stronger in this series than in the original series and their film-version cousins. In fact, the afterlife is discussed from a Newtype perspective, which obviously is not in line with Christian beliefs.
Not trying to be picky, but I felt that these issues needed to be mentioned in addition to this review.
