Am I the only guy here who loves the love stories in anime?
Maybe I'm just a sappy love story lover..

Sometimes I'm in the mood for that stuff, especially when there's a girl at school that I like.
There's nothing wrong with liking sappy stuff.
BUT GIVE ME GIANT ROBOTS ANYDAY!!! WOOOHHH!!!!

I like animes from every genre. I love my dramas, sports, comedy and action. Personally, I would find it dull if every anime had the same premise. It's okay to mix it up sometimes
. One day I'm in a sports mood so I'll pop in Fighting Spirit. The next day I may feel like a good dramatic series, so in goes Kanon or Ceres. So on and so on.
Am I the only guy here who loves the love stories in anime?
So to anwser you qeustion, no. I also like love stories. I've seen many: kanon, Ceres, Princess Nine, Vandread, Kimi ga Nozomu Eien and etc...
I mean, love is a common part of life. So I don't mind seeing a dramatic love story here and there. Call me a hopeless romantic if you will, but I don't mind

I love the romantic anime, especially the romantic comedies. Some of my favorites include Jubei-chan, Sailor Moon, Marmalade Boy, and Fruits Basket. And I'll probably add to that list (after I finish them) Super Gals and Comic Party, since I'm loving them right now!
So, yeah, I'm a guy who really has a soft spot for lovey-dovey anime!

I like the beauty of some love stories, such as parts of the mars manga series were just so touching...but then there are love stories that are way to stupid and annoying...(almost every shoujo out there)

Is it worth watching? I've read so many reviews that were completely negative that I'm sorta scared to even try this one out.

You aint the only one. I like the sappy stuff. Ai Yori Aoshi Enishi was great, I love DN Angel...
I like anime romances. Some of the best art is in romance animes. And the stories are pretty good to. Now if they could just get rid of the fanservice...
I second heero yuy 95 MECHA RULE

Ya, I've heard that lots of people didn't like it... but the only complaint I ever heard was that there wasn't enough action in it.
I loved DN Angel. I reallythink it's worth the time to watch!

Love stories are great.... though at times I'm not up for them lately, but that's more of a personal issue than anything.
Sappy is all good

The answer is obvious by now, but perhaps more so if you consider that Ai Yori Aoshi, DNAngel, Maison Ikkoku, Video Girl Ai, Mahoromatic, and even Ranma 1/2, to some extent, are all romances that not only appeal to men - they are targeted at men.
(Don't take this as an endorsement of any of the listed titles - if you are wondering about any of them, PM me and we can discuss the "appropriateness" of them).
