Hey everybody, just got Final Fantasy Unlimited volumes 1-4. It is a great show! Pretty addictive, too. I am about halfway through with volume 2 and have yet to see 3 and 4. But one thing arose a little concern. On the 6th episode(or I think it was the sixth) it went into detail about how Lisa uses her power called "kigan arts". up to this point I had no problem with the show, but it said how spirits dwelled in all of nature and flowed through all living things. then at the end of the show, Lisa revives Ai with it. I am a huge Star Wars fan and saw how this had definite similarities to the force, especially about it flows through all living things. But it still kinda' reminded me of certain Eastern mysticism, like shinto and stuff.
For those of you who have seen the series, please let me know if it goes into such detail about this stuff again in any future eps. This doesn't bother me tremendously and I know better than to take this stuff seriously, but it's still kind of an "iffy" situation. so any comments or more information on this "kigan arts' stuff will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. :)

I've seen the whole show and I don't remember them ever going into too much more detail on her kigen arts. There is a later episode where she has to signifigantly use her powers to get them out of a jam, but I don't recal them revealing anything new about them that wasn't said before. But then again I wasn't bothered by anything in that series so i may just not have noticed.

thanks

Thanks! :thumb: I just watched a few more episodes and saw nothing wrong with them. I can't wait to get the whole series on dvd.

That is a common theme through FF games I've found (atleast in FFVII and FFX-2 kinda :P)
