There is a new Ah! My Goddess TV series coming out made by the same people who brought you the OAV and the movie. This anime is to follow the manga closer then the OAV and movie. I'll post more info as I learn about it.

I put up a review of the OAV series and the Mini-Goddess series in the review section and Gypsy did the movie review, so I won't repeat what I (she) said in those, other than to point out my chief complaint with the OAV: it really compressed the story down unbelievably. I hope the TV series expands this out more (like the TV series did for the You're Under Arrest! OAVs).

I just read (ugg...I'm staying up too late) in Newtype that the director (Hiroaki Goda) plans to do a little something on all 150 chapters of the manga. To which I say, "Yippee!!!" I had the same complaint about the OAV as you shooraijin so this is good news!

The first episode will air sometime around January 5th I believe. I would be surprised is a company hasn't already got the region 1 distribution rights to it. I'll be watching the fansubbing lists to see.

So are they going to start from the beginning of the story or just pick up after the OVA? And way they do it, W000T!

They are going to start the whole thing over again and director Goda says that he wants to use some of the first episode to establish Keichii as a loser better. So I guess their going to show more of Keichii's daily life before they throw Belldandy in.

Is it going to be done by the same studio that did the original?

YAY! I can't WAIT! Despite being the guy who shouts "End it allready!", Even I found this series too short and lacking. Provided there is a balance, I can't wait for a new show to come out.
