CAA: Christian Anime Alliance

Sorry if there's already a thread about this somewhere, but I just watched it.(plus people seem to get on to you if you revive an ancient thread)
I can't believe I took this long to rent it. It is such a great story, but really has nothing bad in it, except for that creepy woman with the wheel thingy. What is it? Anyway, I think that once I get some money, I will go out and buy this superb movie. I give it a . What did everyone else think about this?

Yes, I LOVED this movie. It was so squeaky clean, and, being a the romantic sap that I am, I just loved the plot. Even if it was sad. . .

I agree that the movie was clean, wonderfully well done, and beautiful in the artwork - the intricacies of the plot and the development of character through the telling of the same story with different settings in different times and places actually worked quite well. For me though, the ending line of the movie just bewildered me. It kind of killed everything for me. I still liked the movie, but I won't buy it because I didn't like that conclusion. I wish I remembered the spoiler code............ ah well.
