Has anyone here seen any anime based on Broccoli's manga? I saw some of their Snow Fairy Sugar anime and thought it was sweet and cute and I heard that many of their other animes are like that too. As far as I know, their works are clean, but I'm not 100% sure. Can you confirm this?
Broccoli does Digi Charat and Pita Ten too. What are your opinions of their works? Do you recommend them?
Sugar was one of the cutest animes I have ever seen and what I read of the Digi Charat manga was cute too.

For the new members who do not know ... I love A Little Snow Fairy Sugar! And I've wanted to look into Digi Charat ever since I read about it on one of Fred's rants on Megatokyo. What's it about? And I've never heard of Pita Ten.

Well, I'm all for cuteness, so I enjoy the designs for Broccoli's anime and manga as well, BrianC. I have not seen any of their anime, only images. I'm pretty sure Sugar is very clean and safe for all audiences, and not a bad anime to boot. I'm not sure about DiGiCharat or Pita Ten, I only have a few trading cards from each.
I do think Pita Ten has something to do with angels, but I think it's pretty innocent. Di Gi Charat is more a funny, parody-type series.
Does Broccoli do Galaxy Angel as well? That is a series I am very interested in watching. It has been pretty popular over in Japan from what I've heard, and as I like slightly off-beat, humorous space genre animes I'm really hoping it's released in the US.
And you gotta' like a studio named after my favorite vegetable!

I've read a touch of the Digi Charat manga while I was flipping through volumes at Waldenbooks, and from what I saw, it's clean... I didn't see anything that was even slightly offensive, and the theme seemed innocent as well... by my understanding, I think that the main character is simply trying to make money working at a tiny internet cafe, or something along those lines. ^^ Apparently she had come from a wealthy position somewhere and she's learning to adjust to her new life. 'Course, this is just what I gleaned from a quick scan, and I've never really seen the series. However, I've heard nothing but good about both Digi Charat and Pita Ten. ^__^
The characters are adorable to boot. ^.^;

I just checked out a Pita Ten site:
http://lovely-charmy.org/pita/main.php
The site looks safe except watch out for some spoilers. The series looks pretty innocent, as I thought, but it does sound like two of the characters are an angel and a demon--but I don't think they're represented in a very Christian sense. The characters are very cute!

Looks like Galaxy Angel is slated for a March release in the US from Bandai.
I saw an ad in the latest NTUSA. I've been waiting for this one for awhile so I'm really looking forward to watching it when it comes out.

Wow! Way to unearth an old thread! Amazing how a few months can change things ... In my previous post, I knew next to nothing about Pita Ten or DiGi Charat. Now I've got the mangas. DiGi Charat is cute and weird, and Pita Ten is (the first volume) a whole lot closer to Ah! My Goddess than it should be. *raises eyebrow*

normally i don't pay attention to cutesy anime, but i made an exception for Galaxy Angel. XD it's too hilarious to be left alone. and Forte-san was really something else.
