I haven't seen it yet. If you've seen it and want to comment on that, I'd appreciate it...
I heard there's one lady in it with a skimpy outfit, but that was all the dirt I could get on it. It wasn't very well publicized...another anime licensed by Bandai. *sigh*

Don't remember a scantly clad lady. Hm...interesting.
I have seen volume 1 and it was actually pretty good. The story was a bit shallow but the computer animated airplanes were absolutly beautiful. Its an airplane anime about a plane built with an AI. The airplane is called...well...Yukikaze. The pilot is this young aged guy who talks to the plane like a person. The story sort of deals with his stuggle to maintain his sanity with the AI airplane and all. Pretty good worth a look if only for the sweet airplanes
(I love airplanes)

No I think it has 3 or four. I would consider it worth getting, but then I love beautifully animated airplanes. It does seem a bit like the story was thrown together but the plane sequences and Gonzo's exellent animation made up for it as far as I was concerned.

I haven't seen this one but from what I gather it is about that guy and his plane the Yukikaze...They are defending earth from these aliens or something and one of the earths ships turns out to be an alien one. It then goes into this conspiracy theory plot about how the threat might be really human in origin...Or something like that. I read the plos synopsis in Newtype a while ago and if I remember correctly that is about what it's like. I believe it is rated 13 plus. It probably has some excessive cussing and probably a little fanservice but not too much. I haven't seen it mind you but that is my guess.

I know about the plot and all...it was based on a Japanese novel called "Battle Fairy Yukikaze"...or at least that's the literal translation.
I was just wondering about negative content...but it seems Kenshin17's the only one who's seen it so I guess I'll just be satisfied with that. ^^

Well, put this way. If you like Blue Sub Six, then you then like this one.
Three out of the four people that did the Mechanical design for Yukikaze didthe mechanical designs for Blue Sub Six.
One of the Script writers for Yukikaze was the script writer and the Animation Production was Gonzo.
Note too, there are only 5 eps for Yukikaze.
