first of all they are great all are great anime Eva is my fav Raxph was good and end ok Trigun is really good
all have action some bloody but they are all good recommend you start with trigun

I have not seen Rahxephon, but I did enjoy the other three.

Escflowne, despite the Tarot card content was a very engrossing story surrounded with good art and character development, if you are looking for fantasy anime with Giant Robots, this is a great place to start.

Trigun would have been the least on my list. I didn’t really like the art, voices and the universe in general, but Vash and his co-stars are all very unique characters and each have a compelling story to tell.

I did like Eva, but I will not go into detail since this title has been banned from discussion on this site due to the numerous religious connotations that can be found in it. But I’m sure none will deny the high art, voice acting, action, and drama quality this title puts forth.

On topic, I would recommend Trigun if you like steampunk anime that have a good dose of comedy.

I haven't seen any of the mentioned titles, but I will point you in the direction of our review page (it's up there towards the top of the screen). I know that atleast Rahxephon has a complete review, written up by Chloe. Browsing through there should give you a very comprehensive overview of alot of anime.

Neon Gensis Evangelion - I've seen it, the music was awesome, the rest well uhm... want me to PM you details?
Escaflowne - It was pretty good. The dub on fox was... aweful. However, I really enjoyed the movie, the animation was amazing and the music was beautiful. There is violence, the main scene that comes to mind in a horse exploiding in the movie. x.x It make me sick to watch.
Trigun - Trigun! Well, first of all their is a review of it if you happen to linger up to the top bar and press "reviews". And, second, there is a hypocritical priest, but he ends up asking God to forgive his sins and its such a sad and amazing scene. And the main character carries a gun, but he doesn't believe in killing.

Escaflowne - never seen it but never heard anything bad about it except Hitome, the main girl, reads palms or tarot cards or something like that....
