Dumb Sailor Moon question

All right, I know I'm not the only Sailor Moon fan here, so put on your thinking caps, friends. I've got a real head-scratcher here.
Okay, today, for no reason at all, I remembered the episode in Sailormoon S where Yuuichirou left the shrine because he thought Rei was dating Haruka (that was a GREAT episode). There was a song that played when he left, that I really liked.
I saw this episode in English on Cartoon Network, and it was HORRIBLY butchered, but that's beside the point. The point is, this song was NOT translated into English, nor was it replaced by another song (like how "Moon Revenge" was replaced by "The Power of Love" in the English version of the Sailormoon R movie). Odd, considering that the song "Ai no Senshi" was (badly) translated into English in another episode.
Furthermore, I have both the Memorial Song AND Music Boxes, and this song is on neither one of those collections.
Considering the song was not translated and not on either soundtrack of the show, was this song NOT in fact a Sailormoon song, but perhaps an actual song in Japan or something? Was it placed in the show like we place popular songs in movies? I'm confused.
I am further confused by the fact that the music that plays when Neptune gets shot on the bridge at the Marine Cathederal, is also NOT on the soundtrack. Why is this? I LOVED that music! It made me cry...
Yes, I cried. I like Neptune and Uranus...that was SUCH a good episode...
Anyway, what's the deal with these two songs? This is an insanely difficult question to answer, so if you can come up with something, I will give you something. I don't know what...you figure it out, if you can answer it.
