Dumb Sailor Moon question

All right, I know I'm not the only Sailor Moon fan here, so put on your thinking caps, friends. I've got a real head-scratcher here.

Okay, today, for no reason at all, I remembered the episode in Sailormoon S where Yuuichirou left the shrine because he thought Rei was dating Haruka (that was a GREAT episode). There was a song that played when he left, that I really liked.

I saw this episode in English on Cartoon Network, and it was HORRIBLY butchered, but that's beside the point. The point is, this song was NOT translated into English, nor was it replaced by another song (like how "Moon Revenge" was replaced by "The Power of Love" in the English version of the Sailormoon R movie). Odd, considering that the song "Ai no Senshi" was (badly) translated into English in another episode.

Furthermore, I have both the Memorial Song AND Music Boxes, and this song is on neither one of those collections.

Considering the song was not translated and not on either soundtrack of the show, was this song NOT in fact a Sailormoon song, but perhaps an actual song in Japan or something? Was it placed in the show like we place popular songs in movies? I'm confused.

I am further confused by the fact that the music that plays when Neptune gets shot on the bridge at the Marine Cathederal, is also NOT on the soundtrack. Why is this? I LOVED that music! It made me cry... :waah!:

Yes, I cried. I like Neptune and Uranus...that was SUCH a good episode...

Anyway, what's the deal with these two songs? This is an insanely difficult question to answer, so if you can come up with something, I will give you something. I don't know what...you figure it out, if you can answer it.

The song that played as Yuuichiro's theme in Sailor Moon S Episode 99 is performed by a 1970's J-idol duo called "Kariudo". The song was originally released on as an EP record single and an updated version was released many years later as a CD single. (quoted from a sailor moon site.)

http://www.sailormusic.net/tracks/bonus_tracks.html go here if you want an MP3. the Neptune's death music piece was probably a studio library piece, something they just stole from some other show instead of composing it specificly for sailor moon

That was not a dumb question. I came in to this thread with a thought like, "OK, I'm your above average Sailor Moon fan, I can answer any dumb question." But asking about BGM is much more in depth then most get. Not dumb at all. You misled me and the other 40 some people who have viewed this thread hoping to help on an easy "dumb" question. We demand an apology, kae. You crossed a line here.

(I'm being facetious, by the way)

Mr. SP...you will come over to the dark side...

@_@

Shoujo anime ROCKS...

@_@

I didn't mean that the question was "dumb." Okay, you're right, bad title. Should have been, "Difficult Sailor Moon question." I admit it! I wasn't in my right mind when I made the title.

Then again....I'm never in my right mind...

That's not what I consider a proper apology, but, because you have admitted you were wrong, I accept anyway.
