I'd watch 'em in one go. Why? Becasue I'm an impatient little nutjob who is currently waiting for Elfen Lied to come out on DVD. (^_^)

Watch a series in one sitting, with plenty of chips and soda and hot wings to last! =D And sit on the floor with blankets and pillows! Eh-heh, well at least that's what I do.

If it's a box set I usually watch the series all the way through before moving on to another. However, I don't have the time to watch it all in one setting. I have to break it up and it takes several days to get it all watched.

Watch all the episodes as closely together as you can, I say.

And watch on a projector. There's nothing like watching Rurouni Kenshin when Kenshin is bigger than you are...
Yeah, I'm that opinionated.

Gotta watch a dvd a day unless you have nothing to do then... WATCH EM ALL!!!
You find that you have a weapon, an instrument that
will give you power over the wind and sea.
In one word, you can stop time. It is a weapon
so powerful that even God will bow
down to you and all his angels fall at your feet.
What would you do with it?

Lol, yeah it is hard to watch an anime all the way through once ya buy it. I always try to, never happens. I was just rewatching Cowboy Bebop a few weeks ago. Took me a little over a week to finish it, just couldn't watch it all straight though, specially not alone.

Volt wrote:Cowboy Bebop, NOIR, my favorite anime titles , I've always watched them with BIG pauses in between... Like an episode a day, or a DVD a day.

It allows me to think more deeply on that episode, other wise it turns into one really really LONG and boring movie.

Oh yeah, leaving time to digest can make it into a whole different series. I can think of a few that I skimmed over only to find that I had missed out on a few things when I went over it later. I think this method is especially good for a series like Cowboy Bebop, which has some overarching story but is for the most part episodic.

But then, there are a few that I got better when I watched them back to back and made a few connections that I didn't before. The best example I can think of is Tenshi ni Narumon!, which was good the first time but great the second, and downright deep when I started putting things together.

So, the best overall? Both! For me, if it's not worth watching twice then it's not worth watching at all.

And Volt, sorry about your friends. I can remember times in my life when I went psycho because I had nobody to watch my cartoons with. Stay strong and hopefully better times are on the way.

I try to watch them all in one session. Unless it's something like a 26 episode series. Last night I finished all 13 episodes of Gundam 0083 in one shot. (whew, it was awesome)

Yes, make a giant "nest." That's what I did when Wind Waker came out. My friend and I played all day. He was Tingle and blew things up for me, or blew me up if he got bored.

I usually spread it out. But I like to watch it pretty quick. I rent them and if I turn it in early I get credit
I do like to take breaks though unless its a super good series, then I just truck it. :)

Personally, I'd go insane watching it all in one go. Too much of a good thin,g you know? I recommend an episode or two a day. It makes it last, builds up suspense, and givings you time to reflect on what you've watched (if its one of those thought-provoking animes. X3)

Aw, Volt. I'll be your friend and you can come by and watch anime with me. As long as it's a good series, and no pokemon.

I usually watch an ep or so a day. Since I'm always in the middle of watching around ten series at a time, I might watch an ep or two of one, or an ep of Colum A and then watch and ep from Colum B.

A DVD a day is best because the faster you watch it the faster it is over.
Like I have had Sailor Stars for like half a year . I am not done yet because I do not what Sailor Moon to be over.

I like to spread them out a little bit. Gives you time to actually um live and not consume an entire day with anime. Also gives you time to reflect on the series a little bit at a time and not all at once.

I like to watch an episode a day or even say 4 episodes a week. I usually watch either an episode at a time or a dvd at a time. I can't watch a whole series in just one go no matter how good it is.

The best way is to watch different series along side each other. One episode from each then you're not just watching the same series all the time and it livens it up. Like watch a comedy and a serious action anime alongside each other. That works best for me.
Absence is to love as wind is to a flame. It extinguishes the little, it ignites the great.

Life is a test. It is only a test. Had this been real life you would have have been instructed where to go and what to do.

When i argue with reality I lose.....But only 100% of the time.

Once you've decided on a course of action, only you can finish it. As long as you remember that, there's nothing you can't accomplish.
