Tsubasa and XXXholic To Be Anime
Yes, you read that right! According to Anime News Network, both Tsubasa and XXXholic, some of famous manga-ka CLAMP's newest work, are to have anime! At the moment, it looks like a movie produced by Production I.G. for XXXholic, but Tsubasa is still being planned out. It's possible there may be a proper TV anime in Tsubasa's future!

Oooo! I read in Anime Insider that an XXXholic movie was planned, and I was wondering when a Tsubasa anime would be made. To have a very popular CLAMP series with no anime is unforgivable.... too bad RG Veda couldn't get more than a 2 part OVA though :/

That's gonna be so awesome. Now I just need to finish the mangas. . .
Every year in Uganda, innumerable children simply. . . disappear. These children all stolen under the cover of darkness from their homes and impressed into the guerilla armies of the LRA [Lord's Resistance Army]. In the deserts of Uganda, they are forced to witness the mindless slaughter of other children until they themselves can do nothing but kill. Kill. These children, generally ranging from ages 5-12, are brainwashed into murdering in the name of the resistance and into stealing other children from their beds to suffer the same fate.
Because of this genocide of innocence, hundred and hundreds of children live every night sleeping in public places miles from their homes, because they know that if the do not-- they will disappear. They will become just another number in this genocide to which the international community has chosen to turn a blind eye. They will become, in affect, invisible-- Invisible Children.
But there are those who are trying to fight against this slaughter of Uganda's children. They fight to protect these "invisible children." Please, help them help a country full of children who know nothing by fear. Help save the innocence. I'm not sure as I haven't read the manga, but from what I have heard doesn't XXXholic interweave with Tsubasa? If that is the case then the XXXholic movie will most likely come first as a forerunner to the Tsubasa anime series. Most likely the timeframe for it would be late 2005.

This is going to be awesome!!! I wonder how long the series will be. I hope it doesn't end up like the X tv series. Since the manga wasn't finished for that, they had to rush things towards the end and pulled a conclusion out of thin air. I hope that doesn't happen to Tsubasa.

Update: ANN as reported that it has been confirmed that Tsubasa anime will be a TV series and will air on NHK Educationl channel starting in April 2005.
