>.< I do and I wished they had played more episodes of it. Although I did hear that there was some bad stuff in it near the end of the series.
From what I remember of it, it was really funny!

It was a great show that is why I taped the whole thing
yet I really want to watch the movie and also I saw prefews for another show that takes place in the same galaxy as outlaw star so I want to see it
It would all be worth it if maybe some certain people make a gust apprence

The TV version is highly edited.
I enjoyed the TV version of it. I did think that they had too many filler episodes though. I'll be watching and thinking to myself, "Did they just forget about the Galactic Ley Line or what?"
The unedited version has much more sexual content in it. Read our review of it for more info there.

Yeah, I sure do miss that show. It's one of my all time favorites. I would rate it equal to Cowboy bebop; though others would disagree. Ahh, the good old days....

No, I never saw it; but I've heard of it before.
It sounded pretty good. But I wouldn't know...

Cool show! I liked it, especially Gene's caster.
I hated the fanservice and sexual content though.
It was a bit excessive in some episodes if you ask me.
As for the other series its called Angel Links. Its about a 16 leader of a security service I think.

Actually, I don't miss it.
I liked the show when it first started, it was the high tech sci-fi genre I like. However, I was so confused by the end of the show (and when they finally reached the Ley Line) that it left such a horrid taste in my mouth. I couldn't figure out what the heck was going on and blamed it on the editing. I much prefer Spike and co, but it wasn't a bad series. My favorite part is when Gillian would jump on Gene "Wake up Gene, wake up Gene!" and he gets pegged wtih a coffee mug. That was classic.

I kind of miss it. I really liked it when it first came out, but my favoratism of it died down a little as time passed, especially after I wasn't able to watch it anymore. The sexual content in it is horrible, and that brings down its rank on a scale of one to ten for me.
And the homosexual guy was disgusting...
Anyway, that was all dubbed out when they brought it over here, but it was still kind of obvious, and it was really easy to figure out what REALLY was happening.

True, in fact the first time I was it on cartoon network I was very confused. I had to wait until toonami repeated the series and I had to pay close attention to the last 3 episodes. Also, the editing that was done didn't help. And quite honestly, I don't remember exactly how it ended. It's been awhile since I've last seen the series. But, Cowboy Bebop and Outlaw Star are on the same page w/ me; both are good animes

the general idea of the story was great, very star-wars-ish, if i can use that term, i saw part of that hot tub episode and i was truly disappointed with it, they could have made it where gene had to go on this quest to get the materials necessary to make the caster shells and get them to the priest to make the shells, but no, they just had to have him take a video camera to go shoot some freaky priestess strip to get the shells, talk about putting a bad taste in your mouth, YUUUCCCKKK!!!!!!!, if they had just made gene a lil' more like han solo, things would prolly have been alright, i'm somewhat glad to hear they made a movie, the series just seemed to have too many loose ends, not only that but in the series they mentioned a huge organization of space pirates that hazanko was a mere member of, which means that there were stronger obstacles to cross all along, too bad for us we'll prolly never see it unless it gets released on dvd in america or somethin'
