Its rather good, quality animation, nice storyline so far, and some awesome action!
The series doesn't have any fanservice but is rather suggestive from what I have seen. Episode 4 is all about a monster that eats lingerie and the main male character is somewhat of a pervert their is just allot of little suggestive things throughout the series as far as I have seen. If you have seen FLCL its kind of like that. But overall is something you would expect from a series like that. It is really good though so far I really like the storyline and animation. Hope that helps :thumb:

yeah, i think the same as WhiteBlaze, i've been watching it as well and its cool, one of my friends told me about it, the charachters are all funny, especially Mikoto (the little girl with the big sword)

ive gotten into it now. Im on episode 13 (out of 26, which 15 are only available currently as of 1/27/05) It's really great! But i DEFINATELY rate it 16+ There are many suggestive parts to it. The main thing: fanservice

like... its crazy on fanservice. Not all the time, but some parts

but its so cool. Its mysterious, conspiriacy-ish, and lots of humor. And good action

edit: and the plot is like oh my gosh so awesome. And theres a little bit of shoujo added into it. A title im sure somebody like Kaemerrite would like

 Your 15 - what are you doing watching it? :eyebrow:

;) Actually, I view Elfen Lied, Hellsing, Steel Angel Kurumi and some of the more graphic shows as 16+, which is what those type of shows are usually rated, and the ones I just mentioned are actually rated 16+ on their box.

This show is definitely a 13+ and when it is licensed here and sold I honestly believe it will be a 13+ rating. I always think of 16+ anime's as more like R rated movies in content; such as, voilence, sexual content, nudity, blood and adult themes.

This is definitely an action-based show with tons of great graphics and awesome creatures, like all fighting shows. Each character tends to always find a higher level, until they all go Super Saiyan.:P Okay, they don't really go Super Saiyan, but they definitely level-up.

This has some really great characters. It's just a lose your mind and sit back and enjoy a decent story.

I love the relationship between Mai and Mikoto, who is like her little sister... or pet dog/cat - not sure. I have to agree with Sephiroth, Mikoto is my favorite character, as well. She can really handle that giant sword like a berserker. o_o

[size=84][color=seagreen]YOU SEE

You see into the deepest part of me ---

beyond the fog I hide behind.

You cast your light upon the shadows

that stretch like cobwebs in my mind.

You ease the pain when I am hurting,

and morbid visions from my past

pierce into the realm of Reason

as though I danced on blades of glass.

You grant me strength when I have fallen

and, once again, I've lost my way.

You take my hand in Yours and lead me

into the promise of a brand new day.

You bring order to all my chaos,

yet set my well-laid plans awry.

You place me on a firm foundation ---

then give me wings so I can fly.

You sand away my roughened edges

and polish all the dullest parts

until I stand before Your presence...

a newly-sculpted work of art.

You see into the heart within me,

right through my motives and selfish will.

And yet, in spite of all You see

You say You love me even still.

There is a manga to this series, but its a lot different, so be wary if you come across such. Fan service is much more so, the main character (in many respects) is actually Tate, etc.

It actually doesn't stop one the suggestive stage; or do you consider Mikoto groping Mai boobs as suggestive only? Nonetheless, it's pretty harmless since I usually laugh whenever stuff like this happens. I'd recommend this anime series if you like comedy, action and a bit of romance.

PS: There is no main male character as I see it. He seems to be a love interest to Mai and not a protagonist himself because he's soooo useless. Maybe that will change in the later episodes (14+) though. I really hope it does :D

PPS: If you want real/more fanservice, check out the Mai-Hime Manga. Nearly everything is different there plotwise although you will recognize the characters. Plus the guy is actually a main protagonist there.

I watched a number of episodes. However, content wise I really didn't care for it so I dropped it to focus on other titles.

I wanted to like this show, the preview/promotion clips were pretty good and the first two episodes had me at least interested, but I got lost about episode 7 (probably over some minor things) and after 11 I couldnt continue, I might give it another chance and watch the whole show in a few sittings once it's been fully broadcast.
Also, Sunrise seems to either have some wacky plan to "save" money, or they just dont know what they're doing because there's seventeen other studios doing co-production on the animation work alone.

16's ending was pretty intense. There's going to be a lot of disappearances and Akira going psycho on Takume.

Yes, I do too. Atleast if you can believe the preview :D

And for all the others: Pick it up (again) because it's will get interesting later on (especially after 16).

I hope Mai and Yuichi get together soon >_<

Read the manga, it's different but still REALLY good. I know they don't like it but pm me if you want to find it.

The My-Hime manga is nice to but I somehow lost track of it and I'm concentrating on the anime until there are better manga raws for the groups to edit on.

*revives this thread*

Ok, so I can't say much yet b/c i've yet to figure out the lovely spoiler things on here. can anyone advise me?

Meantime...who else is keeping up with this series? I've now seen through 24 and am quite thoroughly addicted. Although 22 proved that the series could get yet more disturbing. o.o yeah. creepy.

Anyways....loving it otherwise, and this is one of the most tragic/emotional shows i've seen. man.

So yeah...*revives and lets other people say intelligent things instead*

I cant wait to watch the conclusion!!!!! My favorite character I think is Mai... Yeah this is emotional.. I think i have cried.. two times watching this (yeah i know i am pretty feminine... =P )

There's yaoi/yuri in it? *snapity!* How much and how blatant?
Every year in Uganda, innumerable children simply. . . disappear. These children all stolen under the cover of darkness from their homes and impressed into the guerilla armies of the LRA [Lord's Resistance Army]. In the deserts of Uganda, they are forced to witness the mindless slaughter of other children until they themselves can do nothing but kill. Kill. These children, generally ranging from ages 5-12, are brainwashed into murdering in the name of the resistance and into stealing other children from their beds to suffer the same fate.

Because of this genocide of innocence, hundred and hundreds of children live every night sleeping in public places miles from their homes, because they know that if the do not-- they will disappear. They will become just another number in this genocide to which the international community has chosen to turn a blind eye. They will become, in affect, invisible-- Invisible Children.

But there are those who are trying to fight against this slaughter of Uganda's children. They fight to protect these "invisible children." Please, help them help a country full of children who know nothing by fear. Help save the innocence. For more information concerning how you can help and how you can get an incredible video about this horrific reality, visit the Invisible Children home page.
